What do you love most about your job?
Helping Clients to understand their businesses more thoroughly and how to plan what they need to look at. Is a "need" a "want" , and is a want going to drive the business forward in a positive way.
What inspired you to start your own business?
To give people help and to show them how to manage their day to day finances and business, on an ongoing basis. It can be lonely to be in charge of a business and having someone who can give advise tailored to their needs is paramount. It's crucial to keep an eye on finances. Cashflow really is important.

We are happy to visit Clients on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis. We prefer the face to face aspect as it gives us a better feel for what they do. It also engages us with not just business owners, but also with their staff and management. Everybody plays a part to make a successful business.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Have mainly worked remotely. We have popped in to pick up crucial paperwork instead of having it posted, as that cannot always be relied upon. If visiting, strict Covid-19 rules have been applied by us and our Clients, eg, wearing masks, hand sanitising, keeping at least 2m apart. We have sanitised paperwork upon receiving and left it a couple of days before opening.
Bookkeeping
To ensure all of your sales and purchase invoices are recorded onto an accounts package such as, Xero, Quick Books, Free Agent, Sage, etc. Reconcile these on a regular basis and discuss who you owe, and who owes you. This will give you a better understanding of where you are. This work can be done on your premises but also remotely.
VAT Returns
We will work with you to ensure these completed correctly and are filed on time, preventing any fines from HMRC. This can help with your company credit score.
Management Accounts
Know where you are financially. We make a detailed record of your expenditure on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. This helps you to budget, in order to make future buying decisions, eg, vital equipment needed for you to run your business. You can then make informed decisions about the things you can afford, and the best cost-effective way to purchase them.
