Cheryl did our wedding cake in August 2016 and did an amazing job! I requested a naked cake with 3 tiers which Cheryl had said she had not done many of at that point but said she would give it a go! She invited me and my mum to her home where she had made a mini version of the exact type of cake I was after! I chose vanilla sponge which she filled with fresh cream and raspberry jam and was decorated with strawberries, gold leaf and a dusting of icing sugar! It was perfect and how I had pictured it! She is very good at making cakes to descriptions given and I can tell a lot of hard work and passion goes into what she does. Her cakes are extremley tasty and is very responsive to emails/calls. Cheryl made us a four tier cake for our wedding with cascading roses. It looked fabulous and I loved the fact she was able to do each layer in a different flavour. The cake was really moist and tasty, and she was very friendly and the cake was exactly what we asked for. The only reason I’ve given four stars rather than five is that the top layer was too subtle in favour. Definitely great value for money though. More...
