What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Observation but also intuition. I'll be thinking about light, composition and interest - however, getting in tune with the true atmosphere and energy of any unique event will help me to express that photographically.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I would check that my personal style of working is the right fit for my client. And other than time, date and place, I would ask about any specific details where I'd need to make sure I was ready and prepared to take any specific photographs.
What do you love most about your job?
Creativity, and the chance to meet and work with a whole range of people in a variety of places.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Realising that I could enjoy my work and provide something valuable to my customers.
Why should our clients choose you?
I will not manipulate or direct your special event, but will work around your own plans to make sure I provide you with beautiful but natural photographs.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I am highly aware of my need to maintain Covid safety at all times. I am happy to wear a face mask throughout your event if required, I always carry hand sanitiser with me, and do my best to remain aware of my distance from other people at any given time.
Documentary wedding photography
My style is to try to keep as low profile as possible - more like another guest than a photographer. This would allow you to relax and truly enjoy your wedding as it really happens - spending time with your loved ones as opposed to the photographer.
Meanwhile, I work candidly to observe and record genuine, natural expressions and emotions. I aim to tell the true story of your day through my photography, whilst providing you with a beautiful portfolio of storytelling images that will be treasured for years to come.
My wedding package includes:
* Pre-wedding consultation - a chance for you to tell me about your day and what's important to you.
* I am available right up to the day itself to answer any questions and assist you in any way I can.
* Wedding photography, from unlimited full-day coverage down to photographs of the ceremony only.
* Complete editing and post-production service - this usually takes about 2-3 weeks, but timings are not guaranteed as I believe in quality over speed.
* Presentation of digital images on personalised USB drive.
* Password-protected online image gallery.
* Optional album and print production service at extra cost.
Music and festival photography
I work intuitively and candidly, to faithfully record the true energy, atmosphere and narrative of your special event. I love to capture the natural expressions and details that others might miss, and to vibrantly express the individual personalities and characteristics.
My event package includes:
* Pre-event consultation - the opportunity to tell me all about your event, what images you're looking for, and to ask any questions.
* I am available right up to the day itself to answer any questions and assist you in any way I can.
