After making a decision to have a new driveway, we decided on a decorative resin bound stone finish and agreed terms with Surebond Surfaces. Following advice from Mr Cresswell and an accommodating approach, we chose an original stone mix finish which incorporated a percentage of black into a buff blend of stone. The work involved digging out the driveway, laying 200 mm Type 1 M,O,T base, a 50 mm porous tarmac layer and then the porous 20 mm resin bound stone finish. Mr Cresswell's team were present about one week, extremely professional and kept the area clean and tidy throughout. Surebond Surfaces laid a resin bonded surface to our drive 3 years ago. The team did a fantastic job (especially Steve, who paid so much attention to detail). But the icing on the cake was recently when I noticed a couple of cracks appear. Simon came out straight away to have a look and within a week Steve was back making the appropriate repairs with no fuss at all.The surface is so easy to look after with no weeds growing through or gravel moving all the time. We used surebond surfaces to tackle a penthouse terrace that we knew would be tricky (having two other companies turn us down). They done the job marvellously, clean on time and on budget. We even had a bit of snagging that they came back to do without question. Mr Cresswell and his team recently laid bonded stone onto our rear garden path. The difference it has made is outstanding and given the garden a whole new lease of life. About 4 years ago our house flooded. We wanted something hard wearing that would drain away water. Surebond laid the most fantastic chocolate brown stone carpet through the our kitchen and hall. At the time I insisted on traditional carpet in our two sitting rooms. Big mistake! We flooded again in February this year. The stone carpet looks as good as new and the kitchen was the first room to be signed off as dry. The other two rooms took four weeks longer due to soggy carpets! We have now had stone carpet throughout the downstairs. It looks beautiful. Simons guys work quickly, professionally and with minimum disruption.
