Summerbys Catering.

Summerby's catered our wedding on the 3rd June with a lunch and evening buffet. Lunch food was delicious and very well presented, especially with the additional challenge of being outdoors in a slightly muddy woodland!
Evening buffet was equally good, things all changed over and were prepared behind the scenes without me even noticing. Guests with special dietary needs were well taken care of. Steven and his team were very attentive to all our guests and took obvious pride in their work and in delivering a great meal. Portions were expertly judged, our guests were all happily fed and left barely anything. Dessert was also very good.

Summerby's did the catering for our wedding recently and they provided a great service. They are very reasonably priced and the food is of a very good standard. We had a 3 course meal and a buffet for the evening. The staff were very good at keeping all of the timings on track even though we were late to start the meal. Steve and his team are happy to listen to what you want and will happily tailor things to what you like. The staff were very friendly and polite. We would happily use them again for other functions. Summerbys catered for our wedding yesterday and we are so happy we booked them. We had a carvery and pudding and then had the guys back for sausage & bacon cobs and chips for evening food.

The carvery was probably the best I have ever had and all of our guests loved it. We had a few gluten free guests and some veggies and they were all catered for. The puddings were to die for.

The evening food went down brilliantly, everyone loved something other than a cold buffet, highly recommended!

Steven has been great all the way through, never any stress or problems. He knows he serves great food but there's no pretencion, he's just happy knowing everyone is enjoying themselves.

We have used Steven and his team on 2 occasions now and will 100% recommend him to everyone. He catered for our wedding 2 years ago (carvery and dessert) and more recently for our daughters Christening )hot buffet). We had in excess of 100 guests, but Steven makes the day run so smoothly, you would never of thought he had fed that many people. He is completely reliable, so you can enjoy your day and know your catering is in good hands. From the first meeting, right through to the event it shines through how much Steven loves what he does and that’s why his food is so delicious!

I perform in a function band and had the pleasure of working alongside Summerby’s this evening. Being vegan, it’s always difficult to get some decent food when playing functions/weddings, but tonight was special. .. These guys went above and beyond to make sure we had more than enough food! Steven and the gang have just catered our wedding and we couldn't have asked for more. From the very beginning through to the last plate being cleared away it was perfect. Steven is very helpful and nothing is too much for him, as for the food our guests absolutely loved it, especially the Spanish chicken. Steven provided a catered Sunday brunch in our house, the day after our wedding for guests who were still in the area. It was a complete success, and he managed it all single-handedly, including setting up and clearing up, without any disruption. Everyone was delighted, and the price was very reasonable. Having checked Steven's reviews we met up to plan our wedding day. He clearly knows his stuff and is calm and confident in delivering exactly what is required for the event and is completely flexible in his approach. The chosen venue, The Galleries of Justice in Notts city centre is by no means an easy venue to work, but Steve visited several times prior to the big day to ensure all angles were covered. 100+ guests for a hot sit down buffet on a first floor, desserts, tea and coffee on the ground floor amid a Queen tribute band!
Fantastic quality hot food at a great price, 4 main courses for guests to select from, choice of pots, rice and various salads...and not a kitchen in sight at the venue. Not sure how he and his team did it! Great service, great food and a very keen eye for detail to get it just right on the big day. We booked Steven and the team for our wedding on the 17th December. We had soup followed by a carvery and apple crumble for dessert. The meal was delicious, the portions were plentiful and the meat was divine. There was so much choice even the fussiest of people had something to eat. All the guests enjoyed the meal, some even struggled to finish. One guest commented that the food at her sons rather expensive wedding wasn't a patch on what Steven and his team served at ours. Truly delicious!
Through out the planning Steven was helpful and offered advice to make sure every thing was covered and ran smoothly. The chef and waiting staff were professional and helpful. On the day it was one thing I didn't need to worry about as Steven knew exactly what he was doing.
All in all, I will recommend Summerbys to my friends and family, good honest, well cooked affordable food. All of our guests were pleased and my husband and I had fully tummies! Well done Summerbys. We booked Summerbys for our first ever joint office BBQ on 20th July 2016. Steven and his chef Clint were very professional, great communication beforehand, flexible in the event of British Summer weather (i. e Rain) arriving. On the day they arrived and set-up with no hassle or involvement from me.

The food itself was great - all the staff enjoyed it - was able to cater for our Vegetarian/Vegan and Halal colleagues all to their satisfaction. I have already had emailsfrom colleagues advising that they enjoyed the event and the MD is already looking forward to next years event.

Had carvery for my 50th Birthday. Everything was done and ready when I arrived so had no worries about food. Steven is a cool guy, and a wonderful, wonderful choice for any event - we had him and his team do us a carvery for our wedding last weekend, and it was a total hit! Really, really lovely food - the gammon got a LOT of compliments, and as I'm a vegetarian I can honestly say the veggie options were lovely - creamy garlic mushrooms, nut roast with all the trimmings, and your apple pie is something special!! We had summerbys catering for our wedding. We had a 3 course meal carvery which worked so well with all our guest. The food was outstanding, the organisation was perfect, it all went so smooth. We also had a buffet at night, and chocolate fountain. Which were also delicous!!! Would reccomend Steven to anyone, what a top bloke!! Both mine and my husbands needs were always priority to him.
