One of many great experiences at Rancho Pancho. My partner and I were seated immediately upon arrival even though the restaurant was packed (on a Wednesday evening! ) - we did have a reservation and would recommend booking a table ahead of time if you plan to dine here as it's usually very busy. I had the nachos to start and the chicken enchiladas for my main, all washed down with a few bottles of Pacifico Clara. The food was fantastic as always, with generous portion sizes at very reasonable prices. I was stuffed and couldn't handle a dessert, although my partner had the churros and thoroughly enjoyed them. Ok Mexican with friendly staff and a nice clean restaurant however the food is definitely not on par with other Mexicans I've eaten at around the UK. I asked for it to be hot with chillis etc and it was mild to say the least, the enchiladas were bland, the chilli's were inert and they only tasted of chicken, the sauce was way too creamy aswel which is a first for me.The wedges looked like they came from Iceland and I was left underwhelmed! Unfortunately we didn't have the best experience here. I used the website to try to book a table and received a response 4 hours later declining the booking (which the website said might be a possibility). I then called and was able to make a booking for later than we had hoped. When we showed up at the time we had reserved, we had to wait in the doorway for 15 minutes as there were no tables free. Other customers who had booked at the same time as us ended up waiting longer than we did too. It seemed like something had gone a bit wrong with the way they organised bookings. We also informed them of an allergy my partner had, which they took note of and said they didn't think his dish contained it. However, the dish arrived with that item in it. Luckily we managed to spot it before he ate it and had a reaction. All in all, not the best first experience to have of this restaurant. Have to say was disappointed with the meal, was pretty bland, the salad was out of a packet and I know this as when we were eating a delivery was happening beside our table which was also disappointing as we are also paying for the experience, we left rancho poncho feeling underwhelmed, sorry guys better effort needed

Rancho Pancho was recommended to us by a mexican friend. The food is great. We can recommend trying the mole poblano - a chocolate chilli sauce that is much better than it sounds. The cocktails are expensive but good. The place is quite small and gets packed really easily so booking ahead is recommended, especially on a Friday night. Had the enchiladas with mole sauce - have never tried mole before and the color does look lighter compared to the ones online but it tasted nice. So walk on at a half 5 sitting shown to table and server was fine however order she never took order for till 5:55. Finished our starters and mains ordered a couple of more drinks. She then took our plates, asked us if there anything else, my partner then tried to get the dessert menu and was then greeted with 'actually we need the table back!'.
