We reached out to Studio Lyons as needed an architect to help us restore a Victorian semi, which was mostly dilapidated. Jessica helped to transform the property into a large and modern family home, including extension and garden coach house. What do you love most about your job?
I love near the beginning of the journey when working with a client and a new project. I start to take on their aspirations and ideas but am able to bring in my knowledge and experience, and introduce complimentary ideas to them that they might not have thought of.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to not be directed solely by another architect's taste but be able to pursue my own passions and inspirations which I felt were more in line with what clients were looking for.
I had also been working for a practice for nearly 6 years and gained a huge amount of experience so I knew that I had the abilities to run a studio on my own.

We will work closely with you to realise your hopes for the works to your home. Along with having strong relationships with the consultants and contractors, we will ensure that the project becomes a huge success that you will be happy with for years to come.

Yes, we are equipped to provide our services online or remotely and carry out most of the early work this way, however an initial site visit and meeting is preferred.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Regular testing when meeting clients or contractors on site and working remotely when possible.
