What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new people, and working with them to help them look like their best selves. Appearances matter!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always been self employed in the film industry, and between jobs I would offer wedding styling. Opening my own studio was a natural progression of that, and I've added as many new skills as I can.

I provide services both here in Studio 48 or I can be hired as a mobile artist for makeup, hair styling and gel nails
I do not provide chemical services outside of the Studio - so no hair colour or perms.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
The studio is one person at a time, it is sanitised between each guest and all fabrics are washed between uses. Clients are welcome to wear masks and if requested I will also wear one.
Hairdresser
Full service salon with cuts, colours, perms, straightening, styling, extensions and updo's for weddings and events.
Nail Artist
Using The Gel Bottle products, I offer full nail prep, gel colour, BIAB Builder Gel, Hard Gel extensions, Nail art and removal.
Makeup Artist
22 years of providing makeup to the Stars, I can work with any age, any skin, any colour and all requirements. I use high end products and have impeccable hygiene.
Hair Extensions
Supplying hair extensions from Beauty Works for the very best quality, long lasting and reuseable hair. I can offer 10 different attachment methods to suit whatever your particular concerns are.
Extensions for volume, length or to add colour and dimension.
