After collecting our 2 Labrador retrievers from Studholme kennels this morning after a 3 day stay, they not only came home wet but sodden in urine and their bed had to be dumped due to its condition the smell of urine. Following a telephone call to the kennels the manager was unapologetic and aggressive in tone when I informed him that our beloved dogs should have been not treated this way and I would be posting a poor review of this service. It has been a very upsetting to us as an experience and would not recommend this service. Animal cruelty is defined as "Animal cruelty is when someone deliberately hurts or does not properly care for an animal under their control such as their pet dog or cat. The staff are dog people! Mocha doesn’t take to strangers, but took to everyone there straight away. She stayed for 7 days, was her usual bouncy self when she saw us and was even hugging the staff before she left. I will definitely board Mocha here again. More...

This kennel is defiantly one of the best around, I collected my dog looking and smelling fresh and clean, tired out from all the exercise she has had over her stay and fantastically priced. My beloved dog is very big boy who can be extremely boisterous at times and doesn't like meeting new people or dogs but Studholme welcomed him with open arms and adapted to his needs. We met a few times before Riko stayed at the kennels and had a look around. I felt safe leaving him there, I would highly recommend the staff as they go above and beyond for my boy and he always comes back smelly gorgeous. More...

We have been leaving our dogs here for years. The staff have been consistent and really look after the dogs. When we drop them off now they are so excited they don't even seem bothered when we leave without them :-)
