About

I am the coach for you if:
You want to get stronger, build muscle, and have a healthy, well-rounded body that looks great and is resistant to injury.
You are bored with what you are currently doing in the gym - it's not working for you.
You lack confidence with the barbell and are unsure about trying new movements, or heavier weights, on your own.

Claire is an amazing PT, especially for a gym newbie like myself. I felt very comfortable even from the start and it’s great to see that I am getting stronger every week!

I have had the fortunate pleasure of working with Claire for a little over three months. With a background in CrossFit, I felt my body was often in the red zone, picking up frequent 'niggles' and injuries so I wanted to focus more on strength and conditioning, in particular, the compound lifts.

Over the past three months Claire's bespoke, individualised programming and support has helped me manage pre-existing injuries, build strength and gain muscle mass. She is very responsive and adaptive as a coach.

Claire is extremely knowledgeable and well rounded. She listens to my goals, provides opportunity for regular check-ins, is very technique focused and safety driven.

One of the the things that impresses me the most is how intuitive Claire is as a coach. She knows when I need a deload week and when to push. There are times I know I wouldn't have managed another rep without her support, encouragement and belief in me.

I'm very grateful for the strength and confidence she is inspiring in me. My family, friends and colleagues have all noticed a difference. I feel very fortunate to have Claire as my coach and really excited to see where our journey takes us.

Services

One to One in person coaching takes place at Koru Gym, Bishop's Stortford. These sessions are your time to work on your strength and movement pattern quality. I aim to educate and empower you such that you can take the lessons we learn in our training and apply them on your own.

One to one coaching always begins with a free phone consultation, which is your opportunity to chat to me about your goals and training history, and ask any questions you have about the service. We will get to know each other to determine if we are a good fit. This call is free, and there is no obligation to sign up for coaching after the call if you decide it is not right for you.

I have experience working one-to-one with clients from a range of backgrounds - I have taught people with no gym experience whatsoever, to competitive powerlifters and weightlifters.

One-to-one online coaching begins with a free consultation call to discuss your training background and your goals, and an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to ask any questions about the service.

Following your consultation, we will perform an assessment of your current strength levels, mobility, and movement patterns. We collect a ton of data at this stage to inform how your program will be tailored for you.

I deliver your program in four-week blocks. I do not use the same template for all my clients - your program is fully individualised to target your specific goals, and your strengths and weaknesses. You have the opportunity to review the program every week to give me feedback on how you feel it's going, and we check in weekly with either a written check in, or a video check in via zoom.
