What do you love most about your job?
Working with a variety of children, and knowing the difficulties they are facing, they struggle to have any contact and then knowing your making a difference because their laughter, and how they light up when they see you, especially when they give you that hug because, you know that's so difficult for them. There's no words to express how it feels to know you being there makes that much of a difference, actions says it all. Truly grateful to have been part of their lives, and to share the laughter, the out bursts, there frustrations, learning may appear easier for most, however, for others not so and because they struggle to comprehend the learning process, they find it easier to be disruptive, get easily distracted, emotional, helping be apart of getting them through the day is truly a blessing.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I want to help make a difference, take in the needs of others and work toward a positive outcome.
I didn't have the help when I was younger, I got myself through difficulties, I vowed if I ever had the opportunity to help someone else I would, because it wasn't there for me, however, I can be there for others, I have been for my children, my grandchildren, friends, family, co-workers, clients, customers,
and I'd love to be there for anyone else I can be, if it helps then fabulous, I am on the right track.
Care
Through completing courses on line and in colleges, I am able to offer help on writing and answering questions on studies relating to social care, child education, child protection, disability, equality, health and safety procedures etc.
SEMH TA
I have been working in a private school as a social, emotional and mental health teaching assistant with ages from 7-13. Subjects, English, maths, phonics, reading, writing.
I have had amazing opportunities which has given me the development and skills, confidence to work in schools, childminding roles, pre-schools, home care, residential children's home for young adults with mental health.
Hypnotherapy
2006, I was very fortunate to come across an Hypnotherapy course, I was actually going for counselling, to be honest the Hypnotherapy course blew me away, extremely amazed what it was all about and such a different aspect to what you would expect or believes about hypnosis, the course was amazing, totally enjoyed it, having the set of tools required to assist others and myself along the way, truly grateful. Even if nothing else having the chance for relaxation is truly worthwhile, plus the opportunity to purchase a mp player @ a discounted price.
