I contacted Dan Bourne to get a quote for the felling of a couple of conifers, a silver birch and the trimming and removal of two hedges and an overgrown Montana Clematis and I wanted to give the work to a local business if possible. Mr Bourne came and gave a very competitive quote for the work and was very knowledgeable and I decided to go with him. Mr Bourne turned up on time and started work. I was very impressed with Mr Bourne's professionalism, he was very polite, nothing was too much trouble and he cleared up and disposed of the debris. I was particularly impressed as the day Mr Bourne came to do the work it was raining, he was on his own, he had a lot of work to do and yet, he still came and got on with the work. Dan provides a wonderful breadth of professional expertise to clients as well as being a Lecturer at Plumpton College on associated subjects. Prompt, polite (always smiling), and good communicator Dan offers advice and then implements agreed work efficiently.The whole area is then tidied up and he departs with a very competitive payment!Highly recommended. Dan was recommended and came last year to give advice on a specialist tree which was not doing so well. He made no charge on that occasion for his time and advice. I followed his advice and the tree survived. This year I needed the tree to be moved to another location and Dan completed the job with great care and to my great satisfaction. Dan and his team come round to cut down 3 big conifer trees and clear smaller trees and bushes from my new house. The garden had not been maintained for over 15 years so was very neglected. They did a excellent job on time, polite, very helpfull gave good advice. When they finnished job every where was clean and tidy. We had a huge Scots Pine tree at the bottom of our garden when we moved into our new house. It kept dropping branches and pine cones and needed to go. Dan arrived on time and was very friendly and professional. He wasted no time at all climbing to the top of the tree and chopping it down piece by piece. We have used this Company at our School for several years and have always found them very professional. They initially reviewed our entire site and provided a comprehensive Tree Survey which has enabled us to be legally compliant and meet Health and Safety obligations. Following this they carried out tree surgery where required including organising the closure of a road to carry out works on our boundary. We have also used Dan the owner to provide written reports where needed for legal issues. All in all from planting a single tree to extensive tree surgery we continue to use them.
