I've used Stortford Man and Van to collect items previously. I was moving house and called Rich as I had some big items to move - what I hadn't realised is the SMaV is a fully insured mover: Rich and Damien were fantastic, not only did they move my furniture with care, but they also helped install some of my items (bed frame, solid oak dining room table). The items placed in our garage was with thought. I hadn't calculated the correct amount of hours and most movers would've left me high and dry but not Rich - he stayed to make sure everything was moved. 🙏🏾 I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND SMaV for any type of collection/delivery or home moving services - Efficient, professional and a fantastic price. Man and Van hire
1 man and our XLWB Jumbo Transit. Ideal if you're happy to help with loading and unloading to keep costs down.
£30 per hour (mileage charges apply outside our 15 mile service area)
2 Man and Van hire
2 members of the team and our Luton Tail lift Transit van.
If you're wanting to stand there and watch them load the van for you it'll cost £50 per hour (mileage charges apply outside our 15 mile service area)
Little Van service
This service is aimed solely at smaller items. £20 per hour for this service with our usual mileage charge outside the 15 mile service area
Waste Clearances
Waste is priced on weight and volume so we really do need as much information as possible to quote. Typical prices are £30 for a 2 seat sofa, £40 for a double mattress.
We cannot recycle fridges or freezers.
Discounts on hard-core or green waste only loads (not mixed)
