A fantastic, relaxing space to sing, play and collaborate with friends old and new. Oh, and eat. There's quite a lot of eating involved.

Going to stones barn is always an amazing experience. It doesn't matter how many times I've been before, I leave having learnt something new and with a bounce in my heart xx

I am totally bereft after spending last weekend at Stones Barn. What a wonderful singing experience led by such expert and gifted teaching from Maddy and Rose-Ellen. Affirmation in bucket loads delivered with love and understanding, delicious food from Nette and comfortable accommodation in Maddy's own home. The whole experience was such fun. Thank you so much. I have been coming to Stones Barn since 2004. It was supposed to be a once in a lifetime experience- that didnt happen, I have been many times since! The courses are brilliant, I always leave feeling enriched. I can honestly say these courses have changed my life. I had never sung in public before but now I sing regularly ,solo and in other groups. Be assured of a warm welcome, encouragement at whichever level of experience you are at and good fun! One word of advice- dont try to diet these weekends! More...

I agree 10000000% with what Susan Ashby says below. Many thanks to all of you (Maddy, Rose-Ellen, Nette, course participants) for a very special, warm, helpful, encouraging, safe, fun and friendly "retreat". I laughed so much during warm-ups one day that I had to rush to the loo. I was so moved by the patient and hugely helpful guidance in the one-to-one sessions and the demonstrated improvement in my voice, that I got a bit weepy. I was so tempted by Nette's wonderful cooking that I abandoned all thoughts of being "good". Although it's definitely NOT "new-age and hippy", I have to admit we indulged in a group hug at one point. That says it all really. More...

It's educational, inspirational, non-judgemental an' all that, but above all it's one of the happiest places I've ever been!
