What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Having a good eye, a decent camera and years of experience, plus the right attitude and personality for dealing with people.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What they hope their photos will say about their day, as well as ensuring I have all the details of the photos they want, names of key people at the wedding and the timing for the ceremony, wedding breakfast etc.
What do you love most about your job?
The wonderful reaction and feedback I get when couples see their photos and knowing that I have beautifully told the story of their day.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I gained my experience, skills and enthusiasm whilst working for 25 years as a local newspaper photographer, before taking wedding photography full time.

I am very organised and great at arranging groups of people (a skill many, especially less experienced photographers lack!). My photography is unobtrusive, top quality and natural. My pricing is clear, up-front and honest and I work quickly, so couples don't wait months to see their pictures. No hard sell, no gimmicks and no hidden extras.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I follow the latest health guidelines, work wearing a mask in confined places, regularly gel my hands and respect customers' attitudes and requests.
