Creates a great environment to learn, been very supportive along with setting pieces to practice between each lesson.

My son has enjoyed piano lessons with Steve for the past 12 years. Thanks to Steve's great teaching, my son passed his grade 8 exam, being awarded a merit. Not only knowledgeable and talented in his field, Steve is also a patient teacher who is quite flexible in his approach. We've been really happy with his service over the years! More...

Just had my first ever Saxophone lesson with Steve, didn't really know what to expect as never picked up a Sax before but I was made to feel comfortable and not rushed, was able to really enjoy the lesson. Steve taught me how to hold the instrument correctly and how to produce notes. By the end of the lesson I could even play a basic scale......all down to the teacher! Looking forward to my next lesson with Steve! More...

He has taught me all different styles; classical, jazz, blues, rock and pop, both from reading music and improvising. I would highly recommend him for beginners and experienced musicians. More...

Steve has been my piano teacher for over 10 years and I have gone from complete beginner to studying for my grade 8 exam. I have been taught a mix of classical, jazz, rock and pop and would recommend Steve to anyone.

Q&As

Helping people succeed. It’s great to see when students are enjoying playing music more, as they become better musicians.

I’ve wanted to play a musical instrument and teach since childhood, so for me it’s always made sense that my job should be what I enjoy.

I love my job.
Good success rate for students who take grade exams.
