We were extremely pleased when we discovered Steve, he was just who we needed. He is very knowledgeable about plants and gardening and works extremely hard. He gets on with things and leaves everything nice and tidy. He takes the time to take photos of the work he’s done which is nice as the person who’s garden he looks after is not able to see it herself. I wanted to find a gardener who knew something about plants and how to look after them and my garden rather than someone who needed to fill their day and earn a bit of money but didn't actually know much about the care of plants. So I'm delighted to have found Steve. He came to see the garden and have a chat about what I wanted to achieve and today he came and started working on it. He arrived early and immediately started using his initiative to sort out shrubs and plants without me having to instruct him. He's clearly very knowledgeable about plants and what needs to be done and I was very impressed at how hard he works which he does in a methodical manner, leaving the area neat and tidy at the end of his time. I'm absolutely delighted with what he's done and so pleased I've finally found someone who I know will be trustworthy, hard working, has a huge knowledge of garden plants and I know will just get on with maintaining my garden without me having to worry about organising him. We recently had Steve to tidy up our front garden area . It’s an area we never seem to get around to sorting out ourselves and I have to be honest we are not gardeners! . I came across Steve on our local Facebook page . We arranged for Steve to come and have a look to see if he could help us . He turned up when he said he would and chatted with me about the area we wanted tending to , giving me advice on what he would suggest to bring this area back to life . I found Steve very friendly and booked him in to start . The morning of day he said he would come he turned up as agreed and basically cracked on with the job . We were very impressed with his work and how tidy he left the area . We wouldn’t think twice about recommending Steve to neighbours etc and we look forward to our monthly tidy up . Steve Dean is one of those unsung plant gurus. His knowledge is vast ! Whether it be planting herbaceous for your cottage garden borders, pruning shrubs, selecting plants for specific soil types and locations, feeding, identifying pests and disease, advice on designing and selecting, or simply maintenance work. He pretty much covers it all from growing to digging them in. He is reliable, trustworthy, considerate and kind. A rare human being that really knows his stuff! He's done alot of work for me and I wouldn't trust anyone else to make the best choices for my garden. More...
