Step3 Digital redesigned our website for us in 2021 and have continued to provide us with a monthly support package. When we need to make tweaks that are beyond our skills on the wordpress content management system, they do this quickly and affordably. They are a great team who don't bamboozle you with tech speak and their attention to detail and ability to really understand what your business wants to achieve from it's website is superb. Would 100% recommend them. More...

It was great working with Step 3 Digital - fast efficient fun ! Nothing we asked them for was ever a problem, they really did their work to understand Imagineer and produce a beautiful highly image based website I am proud of.
What makes a great website?
Websites are not just works of art. Each has its own purpose - and optimising the entire site, paying attention to every detail, to achieve that purpose is what makes it great. That may may simply be to link enquirers to your business or may be to directly sell products and services.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Our process is well defined, from the first meeting right through to pushing the new site live. The kick off meeting and discovery phase allows us to learn about your business and you to understand what we are working to achieve on your behalf. Our entire process is based on transparency and takes a highly collaborative approach so that you always feel in control.
What do you love most about your job?
I personally love interface design and UX design - the process of creating online experiences that work. There is a wonderful mix of visual design, data analysis and psychology at play when designing websites. I also love making clients happy!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my own business in 1992 at the age of 22 and I've always felt comfortable putting myself out there without the safety net of an employer. Now, with Step3, I am on the 3rd chapter of my business life, focussing on SMEs and the unique problems they face with marketing themselves effectively in bustling online space.
Why should our clients choose you?
We never let our clients down. Expecting clients to know exactly what they want at the start is the single biggest issue with how many agencies treat small businesses.
Every client is different and every project is different but we always approach each project with our well defined process, designed with 30 years' of experience in mind. This process allows us to navigate the initial brief and the developing thoughts in a way that allows clients to learn themselves and, crucially, to change their mind.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
By the nature of our business, all our services are offered online. We are very happy to meet in person, which can be very important to many clients, especially at the start of a project, but in reality, we can and often do, conduct entire projects without meeting in person at any point.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We do not need to make any in person contact with customers so Covid-19 security is baked into the way we work.
Web design & development
Full design service from workshop to wireframes and prototypes to web development. Our process is well documented and is shared with you from the first proposal. We work exclusively with WordPress, we host our own sites (unless you don't want us to - in which case we can work on your own hosting platform), we take pride in our work and look after all our clients long after the site has gone live.
