What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
My shoots are fun but professional as I believe that being relaxed in front of the camera reflects greatly in the results. The personality of a photographer comes through in the images they take. Look at wedding photos for example. Guests expressions mirror how you make them feel.
The main secret to taking a great photo is having "the eye" which is one thing you can't be taught. You either have it or you don't.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the variety of the work I do as every job is different. Not focusing on one area of photography means that nothing becomes stale and it avoids complacency.
I have spoken to wedding photographers who do 40 weddings a year and they tell me that it becomes like factory work, doing the same standard shots over and over. Their images become boring because they are bored themselves.
My absolute favorite part of my job is seeing the pleasure on client's faces when they view their final images.
