We both fell in love with your photography. It was paramount to us that our wedding photographs reflected as much of the emotion of the day, and personalities of the people involved as possible and from seeing your work you can really see that in the faces of the people you photograph. From that point it was very easy to eliminate other photographers we were looking at and focus on you. What really clinched the deal for us was just how down to earth and friendly you are. We trusted you with our wedding because we felt so secure with your portfolio of existing weddings and we felt like you truly understood what we wanted and we felt like you could absolutely deliver on that. We both feel absolutely elated and overwhelmed with the work that you have done. We cant believe how perfect our wedding photos are and how well your photos capture our day. Looking back through all of the photos we can both remember how we felt at that exact time, things we said, little jokes and moments together. Also on our wedding day you were incredible at just blending into the background and getting the most incredible candid shots. I honestly don't know how you could improve on what you're doing, you have an incredible talent of capturing raw emotion. I would say to a potential client that if they want to remember their day exactly as it was then they should hire you for their photography. Every single photograph captures a small moment of the day, the tears, laughter, joy, elation and exhaustion, and I know that every time we look at our photos, whether that be tomorrow or twenty years from now, I will be able to remember every second and feeling from our day, and that is what we are so grateful for. I felt like you were exceptional value for money and we absolutely got our moneys worth! You really went above and beyond for us and we are extremely grateful. What can we say to try and thank Ste for his work here? Well first, we loved the style of Ste’s work as soon as we viewed it. Pair this with his ability to put us both at ease quickly meant we wanted to book him straight away for our destination wedding on Lake Como, Italy. For someone to be so up close and personal with you and your other half on the most special day of your lives, being there so close during times of such closeness and moments that you have never shared before, it’s important to make a connection with this person so that you can enjoy this time whilst having it captured so you can relive it forever! Ste is genuine and down to earth, it felt like he was part of our small party of 8 guests! Our immediate family were at ease throughout too while Ste was shooting in fact our siblings who aren’t married yet are certain they’ve already found their photographer! We have seen some guest photos, short video clips and the video of our ceremony where you can see Ste shoot and we have all said ‘I didn’t even notice Ste shooting at that point or in that space at the time!’ I think this is a really sure sign of an excellent photographer, especially in a party as small as ours. The pre wedding shoot was amazing in the images that came out of it and also in putting us both at ease before the big day. A side thanks for sprinting back to our loft space to fetch my vows as I’d forgotten them! And reminding me to take a deep breath before I took my steps down the aisle without my Dad.it is clear that Ste has such a passion for his work and this is evident in all his shots, he has an excellent talent for working with light whilst capturing all the natural moments that happen in all his shots and not having to stage anything.When we sat to view the images, the room was half filled with gasps and half filled with silence! They are incredible! Ste even captured moments that were so fleeting on the day, they’d gotten away from us so thanks to Ste, we can really take the day back in. We were looking back at moments we were able to get lost in at the time because Ste was so cleverly capturing them the whole time! Talented, Truthful and EngagingFor Richard and I, we wanted a photographer we could trust and the most important thing for us was that you caught moments of our family, as well as us. And you assured us this would be the case.We are beyond pleased with the work you have done. The photos are stunning and we barely noticed you were there. We had a Catholic Church wedding and I was worried that there would be a photographer running around but we barely noticed you and the ceremony photos are stunning.We were so pleased with our trip around Liverpool city centre and the photos in our suite. More for the time it allowed us to spend together. It was the favourite part of the day and we are so glad you suggested it.If i was to give you any advice on how to improve, I couldn’t I would just stay true to what you are doing now. Keep focusing on the lovely moments between people and families.If anyone is on the fence about hiring you I would say; If you want the best photos without having to spend hours posing then he is 100% your guy. If you want to take better photos and understand your camera, this is the course for you. Ste demystifies the manual settings on your camera and provides the perfect balance of theory and practice. In the morning you get loads of information, but not so much that it’s overwhelming and it’s accompanied by examples and photos to get you inspired. In the afternoon, you get to put it all into practice and Ste is on hand to give you advice and feedback. I found the Photography workshop with Steve really useful. In the morning we went through different settings and in the afternoon we went out and about to try different techniques and settings. Steve was very patient and helped to explain the different photography settings very well. I would certainly recommend the workshop and would like to attend a next level workshop if it was available. When we met Ste we clicked straight away, really great guy! We haven't had professional pictures taken before so were worried about how to act, pose etc but Ste made us relaxed from the offset. Having an autistic little boy, who loves the camera but is nervous around new people and surroundings I was in two minds if we should go ahead or not. ..BUT.. my gosh I am so glad we did, Ste put us all at ease straight away and did everything to make it easier and comfortable for our little one. As i watched the slideshow of my daughters shoot with her pony,I felt so emotional as Ste had captured their best friend bond perfectly.

Ste made the shoot such fun for her,he was friendly,relaxed and so approachable,we never felt rushed at any point and nothing was too much trouble for him. My son is very interested in photography and Ste let him take over the lenses and take a few photos,this made his day!!
Ste braved the soaked wet fields,even lying in them to take some stunning dramatic shots of them from beneath,he was fantastic with the Animals,a natural around them!
And now thanks to his pure talent we have the most amazing,truly beautiful images to cherish forever! They are more than i had hoped for,so many different ideas,so original... so thank you Ste, i now have the most precious gift to leave for my little girl....priceless.x

When Ste come out to do the shoot of my horse and I, he made me feel so at ease, he was very professional and calm around the horses.
The photos are so amazing, I was so moved by the slide show, I cried happy tears. I'm over the moon that I now have these memories and photos forever.
Ste listened to me and took photos of what I wanted. He was very patient with myself and Frank - especially when he kept fidgeting. Ste said he had plenty of time so I didn't feel rushed at all.
At the end of the shoot when he had all of the shots that he wanted, Ste still offered his time to me for a little longer to see if there was anything else I wanted to be done.
I was asked how Ste could improve his services. Honestly? Nothing, I can't fault him. Very professional!
If someone asked me about Ste, whether or not they should have a shoot with him, I would say DO IT! No hesitation whatsoever, do it.
My favourite part of the shoot would be everything. You made me feel special, centre of attention. You made me realise through your photos how special my bond is between me and my animals and that isn't something that is done with ease.
Which is my favourite photo? That's so hard, they're all so perfect. I love them all for many different reasons.

Ste came to see me and my horse Jazz for a beautiful horsey photoshoot, having never done one before I was a little bit nervous about what to do and hoped that Stephen would guide me in his professional ways!
He arrived dead on time and I was very impressed to see he was dressed for the occasion, waterproofs and wellies!
Stephen was so natural in his thinking and knew exactly how to capture Jazz in the perfect light and how to get her quirky faces and ways, having never met her before he was fantastic! He wasn't afraid to get down on the ground and capture our moments together, he didn't mind getting mucky and I knew there probably wasn't much he wouldn't do to get an amazing, beautiful photograph. He guided me so well and was so patient with is us.
We did a couple of shots of me sat on the floor with my girl overlooking me and they were fantastic, Jazz was really comfortable with the camera and loved Stephen. She knew she looked gorgeous and Ste made sure she knew it too!
When we went to view the pictures, I didn't know what to do. All I did was cry! (Sorry!) The photos are so natural and the autumnal scene behind us just made it even better. I never thought I'd be so lucky to have this opportunity!
The whole experience was amazing and Ste is such a talented person and has a beautiful gift, my photos are amazing and I'd love to have another photo shoot again in the future. I have photos I will treasure forever and love so much.

The work you've done Ste, was high quality, professional & the afternoon that we spent with you was magical.
We were most pleased with the rapport you had with our children, the gentle but fun voice that made them feel comfortable & open up to your requests!
We didn't know what to expect, having not done this sort of thing before & it exceeded our expectations.
The photographs that you took for us were natural, you made the best use of the setting & captured the enjoyment & fun nature of the afternoon spent with you.
Our favourite part was watching our children enjoy 'playing' rather than the stereotypical 'posing' that you would expect from another photographer!
We would door all over again, you are a truly talented & friendly guy!

Our main fear was the weather! But it turned out to be a gorgeous morning! My personal fear was that the camera wouldn't be kind to me but I'm made up with the pictures!
The pictures Ste has produced are amazing quality. Our first set of family/couple photos and we couldn't be happier with them. Some of the photos look like we were simply having a moment and Ste was just a fly on the wall and captured it! It didn't fee staged.
Ste took an interest in us as people, he wanted to know all about us. It made the experience more personal and in turn made us more comfortable indront of the camera. He also had to contend with the children, which didn't phase him whatsoever!! When we made suggestions he took them on board and explained if it would or wouldn't work and why, educating us a little bit!
We had to think hard about if there was anything he could improve on!! But we actually couldn't find a fault with what Ste did! Like we mentioned earlier, he explained why our suggestions would or would not work rather than just dismissing them.
We would tell anyone contemplating Ste as a photographer that if they wanted a personal, professional, high quality service then Ste is the person to go with. He captured some gorgeous moments of us all on our shoot, some I didn't think would work or come out right. He is genuinely great at what he does!

Hilarious, Thoughtful, Amazing.Our wedding was amazing and mostly because of Stephen. Not sure how to start..... Ste is not only an amazing photographer who puts you at ease when in front of the camera he is also an awesome teacher.
Me and my Fiancé won our engagement shoot in which I was nervous about as I too love photography, so being in front of the camera is unnatural to me, Ste put us at ease straight away and created some quality images which I now have up in my house. Wer'e not the most "lovey dovey" of couples you will meet but Ste understood that and shot our kinda love, affection and laughter. Along the few hours Ste taught me a lot to do with photography, from directing couples to the right lighting! which he didn't have to do as it was only an engagement shoot not a one to one workshop... which I highly suggest to aspiring photographers to do

If you’re looking for a family photographer, look no further!
After searching for a hours, I came across Liverpool wedding photographer Ste.
I explained that I wanted a shoot to capture the different aspects of our family life.
I must say, he just seemed to know exactly the kinda thing I wanted.
As an outdoor loving family, we travelled to a nearby wooded area and beach where Ste worked hard to capture my youngest son Joseph’s cheeky smile as he knelt down making a den out of sticks with his older brother Alfie.
Another one of my favourites is a shot of us walking up a sandy path to the beach, Ste took a pic from behind where I have Joseph on my shoulders and it’s fantastic! I have the photo printed onto a canvas in my office and my clients always comment on how nice it looks!
I could go on all day but to wrap it up, Ste is everything I wanted in a family photographer and more!
I’ve just booked him to do my wedding in July, so see you again soon Ste and thanks again!

We would 100% recommend Ste to be anyone's photographer! We were so nervous on the lead up to meeting Ste for our engagement shoot as we had never had a 'photo shoot' or anything like this before, however as soon as we met Ste he made us feel at ease and kept us laughing and smiling the whole evening!
He made us feel completely at ease and relaxed , so that we were able to be ourselves and let Ste produce natural photographs that we can now cherish forever. Ste seemed to have a unique way at looking at a setting for a picture- he made something out of nothing with various bits of the city's scenery.
We truly would recommend Ste if you want to have a relaxed, and fun experience of photography!

Three years ago, Ste was photographer at my sisters wedding and the photos were stunning so when it was our special day we just knew straight away that we had to have Ste capture it for us! We booked Stephen for some family pictures with our daughter. All too often I've found in the past that photo shoots are a bit of a drab affair. However the opposite was the case in the shoot with Stephen; the smiles were genuine and natural, as he masterfully captured the moment. We were so happy with the results and they now take pride of place in our home. Ultimately the best recommendation would come from our daughter as every now and again she looks at the pictures and says that was a fun day. It doesn't really get any better than that.
