How long have you been in business?
Since 2009, although early tests ran in 2008. I had an office away from home 2006-2016, starting in 2006 working for Betterware and using the office as a base. Can't go cluttering up home with stock, then finding the dog's eaten this week's orders. The office space was also for peace & quiet. Now I no longer have the office space, I'm running an away-from business from home, which confuses everyone.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
Of course, unless it's something unusual. I always endeavour to be as prepared and organised as practical.
What do you love most about your job?
Working outdoors, meeting new people, confusing new cats. Everything grows back again in gardening, and that's not frustrating; that's the circle of life - and repeat business.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Various people prompting me to, not least the HMRC.
Why should our clients choose you?
I keep my costs down by not running a vehicle nor using motorised tools.
Gardening
Weeding, removal of thorny brambles, pruning. Outdoor cleaning generally. Have own hand tools & safety gear, can bring own mower if really necessary, but only a reasonable distance.
