Hi
My name is Jon and I run a small dog walking business in St Leonards on sea.
Previously I ran a very successful dog walking business in Wimbledon but closed it down after covid hit and have since moved permanently to the south coast.
I like my business to be described as a home from home business and like all my clients to know that there treasured dog will be just as happy walking with me as they would with their owners.

What do you love most about your job?
I love being in the company of dogs. They remind me of the days when I used to train the local school football team of 10 and 11 years olds. They all have their own little personalities. Some cheeky, some quiet, and some a bit more moody. Some full of confidence. Some leaders. It is always a joy when you see their personalities come out the more you get to know them.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I like to work on my own and having some control over what I do. I love being outdoors and I love nature ( I have a National Certificate in countryside studies and management). I love animals in general and especially dogs.
Its the perfect job for me.
Why should our clients choose you?
I take time to get to know my dogs and don't overload my walks with too many dogs. I like to keep it this way as I have more control and I find new dogs are not so overwhelmed. It's also important that dogs match, especially energy and personality. It's also important that I trial all the dogs first because some just won't fit in and the last thing you need when out walking is to have a disruptive dog. It might mean that the dog would have to be walked on its own instead.

I only board my clients pets and I only board one clients pets at a time so to give them my full attention.
