What do you love most about your job?
Each dog has it's own personality and its great to get to know each one. My day is spent outside with great animals.
I love spending time with cats. Some are so loving and really pleased to see us each day.
What inspired you to start your own business?
we genuinely love animals, many years ago I was looking for someone to look after my cats while we went away on holiday and realized that there was nobody offering the comprehensive services now available for animal lovers. At the same time, our children decided they wanted a dog. We started Spot On Pet Care and our children got a new dog every week. For them it was heaven, for us it was piece of mind that we could help out with pets whe the owners couldn't.

Dog Walking
Our Dog Walking service is very simple, you have a choice of 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 1 hour. I will come around pick up your dog and take them for a walk locally. I generally only walk dogs singularly or in small groups of 3 or 4. I believe that it is just as important to give dogs some attention as well as exercise which I am able to do with the number of dogs I walk.
Doggie Day Care
My Doggie Day Care service is ideal for people who are going to be away from home for long periods of time in a day. Drop your dog off in the morning, they will spend the day with me and any other dogs I may be looking after. They will be walked fed and given loads of attention while they stay. Then in the evening collect and take home your dog, knowing that they happy and contented.
Dogs need to be sociable for this service to make for a nice environment for all the dogs here. Doggie Day Care places are limited so make sure you book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
Male dogs must be neutered to use this service.
Dog Boarding
My Home Dog Boarding service is a refreshing change to putting your dogs in kennels. Here at Spot On Pet Care we look after your dog in our home as if they were our own pet. I will only board a small number of dogs at any one time, which means that each dog will have plenty of TLC while they spend time with us.
My home dog boarding is positioned in a small cul de sac and we back onto loads of farmland which has many nice footpaths that intertwine with the fields. Due to the nature of my home dog boarding, business I can only take males that have been neutered. All dogs have to be sociable, for obvious reasons I cannot take aggressive dogs.
Pet Sitting / Feeding
My Pet Feeding & Pet Sitting Service is tailored for customers with smaller domestic animals just as cats, fish, rabbits, where you would prefer them to stay in your home while you go away. Services vary from just a pop in visit to a 30-minute visit.
Pet Sitting, Pet Feeding
Spot On Pet Care Pop In Visit – I will visit your home and feed your animal(s), make sure that they have fresh water along with clean up after them. I will also pick up your mail, as well and switch on / off lights to make it appear that someone is at home, while you are away.
Spot On Pet Care Pet Sitting Visit – I will visit your home and perform all the same duties as the Pop In Visit and also spend more time with your pet(s) which include loads of extra TLC for your animal(s).
