Found myself in a tight spot today in Stony Stratford (it's a long story) so I rang Speedline and asked the driver if he could take me to Northampton, and he couldn't have been nicer about it - no talking on his mobile, no music blaring, he just concentrated on his job and did it brilliantly, so it's a big thumbs up from me.

best company in mk, always on time and never late, taxis are always clean and cheap, sometimes they dont even charge me. Always wearing smart clothes and some are attractive. Theyre well equiped and always know where they are going. Have the best fleet of cars, once i got picked up in a Ferrari. I'm surprised to see these reviews. I've tried all the taxis around MK since moving here a couple months ago - and this is the only reliable one. We don't have a car yet, and my wife is pregnant with two kids - so walking between buses is difficult. We **rely** on these guys, and have never been let down. Drivers have never been late, never been rude, always spoken English (seriously?), and I've never been overcharged - although I use the app that gives you the amount up front so it's not an issue. I don't bother to rate stuff usually, but something had to be said. This is absurd. These reviews seem like some internet rating war going on between taxi companies - bizarre. More...

My 1st choice.. Both taxi drivers and call attenders are polite and prompt.. On rare occasions you get cheeky drivers who try to charge more. .but I guess you have them everywhere.One tip for early morning school run is, call them just before 8am..then there is some hope of reaching school on time or sometimes even early..And they are the cheapest in MK. We visited MK from the US to see a concert and also tour Bletchley Park and used Speedline via their mobile app 6 times in a 24 hour period and had good experiences all the way around. To this American, it isn't a taxi company per se, but operates a lot like Uber. The app is a little quirky and always started out saying the car was 6 minutes out no matter what, and then calculated for real once the car was dispatched and each time it was more like 2 to 4 minutes. We entered our destination and it gave us an estimated amount, which is what we paid each time. All six drivers were friendly enough, although English was a second language to a few.
