Steve was very responsive when the local structural engineer we thought we had engaged let us down. He responded quickly, reviewed our plans and photos of areas in our existing house which are being reconfigured and a new extension to it, giving us a preliminary assessment of what was needed within one business day. After a confirmatory telephone conversation on a Friday of one area that was particularly dodgy, he had the final plans to us by the following Monday and an invoice for a very reasonable fee. A lack of support for customers/clients looking to do small to medium sized projects at a reasonable price. No job is too small!

Friendly, reactive experienced engineer with a specialist knowledge of existing houses and look to keep project costs minimal with a fair fee and if required can work remotely to mitigate transport costs. Where possible I will look to make your project as environmentally responsible without impacting on your space requirements

Yes, most projects I work on are remote. Initial engineering judgement helps to get the project moving along for you to get builder prices, as you start opening the building, simple photos or videos can help verify anything, if elements need reviewing. Zoom or WhatsApp video calls can be arranged to run through the project - this helps as we can mark things up or we can show similar schemes if required to explain anything along the way
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Remote working if required to keep people safe but we can wear PPE if the customer requires

-Span of the beam
-Floor span supported by beam

Planning Drawings
Do you require planning for your projects? We can offer a plannig drawing service to produce all necessary drawings as required to achieve planning or permitted development approval for your works. If Planning request changes and tweaks during the process these can also be accommodated
