Great place to stay ideal for shopping in Skegness and half hour drive to Mablethorpe The park has plenty activities to enjoy amusements. swimming pool. Shop.play area's and show bar the Caravans are clean and great for taking your pet dog along too. They have one section for non pets and one for owners who want to take there dogs too. Great location for a short satic caravan break in Skegness. Site next to a old fashion style hotel, grounds are quite pretty with small lakes. Some guests appear to be staying next to the lakes to enjoy fishing. Entertainment consists of the usual Arcade, entertainment complex show bar. Had a few problems with the caravan we booked when we arrived they was no water. But the staff made a great effort in making sure our holiday wasn't ruined by upgrading us to the hotel and also providing all our meals. Couldn't have asked for a more friendly and professional service. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, always plenty to do and the kids loved swimming everyday in the heated pool. The food was great. But maybe the service was a bit slow at night taking around 30 minutes to get served at the bar. But that is my only complaint, altogether a really good place for a short break. A very well run holiday park with superb grounds which are a credit to the gardening team. A well stocked shop with helpful and friendly staff and a swimming pool which was a huge hit with the grandchildren. The caravan was clean, warm, comfortable and we'll equipped. No criticism at all other than local information was a bit scarce so do your research on the net before you come. Had a great day out at the Lincolnshire Wildlife Park which wasn't mentioned in the literature available in reception. Small niggle but still had a great break. Thank you Southview. More...

This is a great holiday park, we use the touring area which is clean. The toilet block is clean, but there is an underlying drain smell. The entertainment is really good, the pool is clean and suprisingly warm which was a bonus. The boathouse bar is lovely inside and the food they serve is nice too. We own a caravan on Southview. There is plenty to do ....there is an arcade on the site for the kids also bars and restaurants. There is fishing lakes,golf course also entertainment on every night. The staff on site are very friendly and helpful if you have any problems. There is a shop, laundrette on site, a gym...indoor swimming pool.....also there is a fish and chip shop now on site. More...

Southview is a large, well managed and maintained holiday park. The caravans are scattered amongst large ponds with areas of landscaping to give an impression of secluded areas for each row of caravans.
I stayed in a gold standard 12ft, 3 bed with two bathrooms.
The caravan was clean and tidy and it was equipped with just about everything to make your stay comfortable.
The park has a good shop and a large bar/restaurant if you want to stay on site. However, Skegness is only a short drive where you will find just about everything you need.
I'm not a fan of this type of holiday but given everything I experienced I really cannot fault Southview and believe me had I found fault I would be telling you.
My family simply love short breaks in caravans because the dogs can come along to, so I have to endure this type of holiday, regularly staying on many a caravan park, but in my opinion Southview is the best of them all and my favourite so I do actually enjoy staying here.

This Is my second visit. We had a lodge this time, and it was wonderful. Very quiet site, but not far from the centre of Skegness. Nice onsite pool and shop. The arcade is pretty good too. Would definitely book Southview again! More...

We stayed in a caravan on this park, 33 the cedars. Really lovely lady who owns it. She gave us a pint of milk, tea bags and sugar on arrival, very hospitable :) the caravan was clean and comfortable with plenty of kitchen utensils DVDs, games and bedding. Didn't stay at the hotel, but stayed in a caravan called Marley's 33 The Cedars which was lovely. Lesley was really welcoming and was originally from my neck of the woods! The caravan was in a good quiet spot, well equipped and very clean. Proper Tea, coffee, sugar and milk left for us which was a lovely touch! Was freezing though!!! What you would expect for November....but we are mad after all! But we set up camp in the living room, we had a gas fire and lots of hot drinks and were quite toasty! Would definitely go again. Visited as a part owner of a caravan (with grandparents), which means we provide our own bedding. Staff are always courteous and helpful. Next to the swimming pool is a small supermarket for the usual essentials, a crazy golf course and a restaurant with playground. Aside from static caravans there is also spaces for mobile homes and camping, with an on site launderette. The show bar has activities for children during the day, an amusement arcade and at night a take away, bingo and acts. More...

Good location just outside of Skegness. Entertainment passed included letting go you in the pool and the entertainment area. Shop on site is reasonably priced if you need anything in a hurry and have inflatables & toys for the kids. Pool is clean and a good size although can get busy quickly. Changing area seems a little on the small side but again is clean and usable. Other activities are on site as well if you need more to do but we're not here to stay on the site!
