Myself and business partner needed some assistance with the sharing e mail accounts and calendars between Windows laptop /an iMac and mobiles so that we could both view/create/amend mails from any of the devices. I know I'll need a new laptop at some point but thanks to South Notts computers I don't need to worry about it for at least another year or so which is a huge relief. My previously sluggish Dell Inspiron (getting on a bit) has been given a new lease of life (with lots of lovely new RAM) and a full on spring clean for just £70...honestly it is unrecognisable, it was never this fast when it was new, more than 5 years ago. Super quick service too. It was ready before lunchtime on Tuesday (I dropped it off just before closing on Saturday!). I am also very relieved to have a proper back up set up now (something I have been meaning to do for ages - all our wedding photos, kids photos etc are digital now and i had nothing in place). That litle extra was thrown in with the purchase of an external drive - which was only a few quid more than the cheapest, cheapest I could find it on Amazon and personally I would much rather buy from people who can help make sure you actually buy what you need - and nothing you don't ...and get it set up and running into the deal. It's not so easy to find the boys (up a tiny staircase with just a little sign at the bottom) but they are super helpful and friendly and what they are saving by not paying for flash premises is being passed on to us in a great value service. I am very, very pleased to have found this place. Everyone seems really genuinely passionate about what they do. They want to find the solution to suit you and your budget, no teeth sucking about the price... they tell you exactly what you're looking at and whether it's worth it (and can actually explain why in plain English). Such a refreshing change from some of the bored staff at some faceless retail-park sheds who're unwilling or unable to tell you any more than is printed on the label.Highly recommended. More...

I was recommended to south notts computers by a friend, who said they were very helpful and friendly, I had a broken laptop which had been somewhere else and they said it was beyond repair, I take the advise of my friend and got them to look at it, after a few days I got a to say it was a motherboard fault and was repaired brilliant
