Meeting new people and learning about them, what they like and how their journey started
What inspired you to start your own business?
I developed an application for my employer to improve a couple of processes within the business. Before we knew it, we had all sorts of functionality built into the application. Site teams could access all the information they needed from the touch of a button, and Project Managers could keep up to date with the status of a project being live fed from the database, we even decided to add in a Holiday require feature, and a Vehicle booking piece of functionality too.
When all was said and done we asked for the same Application to be developed by three separate firms, the average in quote prices that came back was £55,000!
From here I decided I wanted to continue offering solutions but instead, I wanted to offer it to smaller businesses and individuals. These individuals are much more invested in what I am developing for them, because there isn't a large firm that will just sign-off on the cost put in front of them, to a small business every penny counts and I want to make sure that it does, and I want to show that getting an application doesn't have to come close to breaking the bank.

Yes, Soubor operates remotely - although, we do love a coffee. If possible, we would have a keep off meeting face-to-face, the way business should be done, but we understand this isn't always possible. Everything we need can be done over the phone, email, Video call etc.
