Been here a few years and and so glad I joined gym 64 as during prep I really needed to fit in the gym early mornings and late nights and I don’t know another gym that’s open these kind of times so it’s been a saviour really! My boyfriend and I signed up 2 weeks ago and got introduced to Paul when Alan was showing us around. I’d never been to a gym before and my boyfriend hasn’t stepped inside one for a few years so we were both a bit anxious about joining. That changed as soon as we we were introduced to Paul! I am not a gym person and was a bit anxious about joining but everyone has been really friendly with advice and tips to get most of my experience. Again I am quite new to exercise classes and have struggled with them but I have found all the instructors encouraging and supportive. I probably would of given up after a couple of times if it wasn't for the encouragement and support of the staff. And the people that use this gym are equally as friendly. Recently returned to gym 64 after some time out and can't fault it in any way. The staff are always really helpful and knowledgeable. I've had a couple of PT sessions with Martin to steer me in the right direction along with a plan written by him . Something most other gyms would expect you to pay extra for. The fact the gym is 24 hours is also a massive plus for me with finishing work late some nights. The machines and range of equipment in the place is also better than in any gym I've used before. I joined a couple of months ago and the facilities are great. Staff are friendly and the equipment is in good condition. I would have to say though the showers in the men's changing room could do with being looked at. There is a bad smell coming from the drains and the power out them could be better. I've never really had any issues though. Would be good to know how I go about arranging the most I'm meant to get with the membership I took. No one has told me what to do. More...
