Sophia Veres Photography is like stepping into a magazine. The way she captures human emotion, the light, and the details of what she shoots is breathtaking. When I got married at St Audries Park in Somerset I had a very difficult time finding a photographer who “stood out” with just amazing, magazine-quality exceptional talent. Then I found Sophia. Her work is Vogue and art meets your Wedding Day. Her play with lighting is brilliant and every detail she captures is stunning. I think this is the best recommendation I can give: Every single person that came to my wedding who looked at my photos personally reached out to say there were hands down the best wedding photos they had ever seen. I am inclined to agree! A bunch of my friends got married in the past few years and Sophia’s work is the best. I am just blown away. I could not recommend her enough! Not only that, her rates are well worth it, completely reasonable given the magic she creates with a camera and she is a joy to work with. She is funny, kind, accommodating, relaxed- someone I really connected with. I cannot recommend Sophia enough. A gem among photographers and I think she will become more and more in demand as time goes on. Get her as your photographer while you can!!!! We loved dealing with Sophia from the beginning of our photographer search. She made it so easy to be relaxed as people who do not like posing! Our photos from our pre wed shoot and wedding are exquisite! They are natural and reflect our relationship - which was so important. The photos from the wedding really tell the story and recreate all the feels! Sophia recommended we have a second shooter too because of the amount of guests (120) so we did. Matt was wonderful too and they both felt like guests at the wedding. We’ve had so many comments on how they were barely seen yet have taken such beautiful photos. Having Sophia photograph our wedding was honestly just such a lovely experience! I luckily came across her work on Instagram and quickly sent her a message re availability. She was super quick and easy to communicate with throughout. We had an initial skype call (as we live in Australia) and found we got on really well and had the same shared vision when talking weddings. Upon Sophia’s suggestion, we managed to squeeze in a pre-wedding photoshoot too, not only have we got more beautiful photos from this shoot it was the perfect warm up for the wedding day to come. That meant come wedding day, everything was organised and I didn’t have to worry one little bit about what was happening with the photography on the day (Sophia had already asked us to supply a list of must have photos which was great). Brides-to-be, trust me. You need a photographer that can take control on the day but seamlessly slip into the background so that you forget there are even photos being taken – definitely a recipe to get the most wonderful candid shots of your day. All the guests commented on how lovely she was too! One thing that hadn’t crossed my mind was the industry standard wait for your wedding photos of 6-8 weeks. However, Sophia had! To our immense surprise the morning after the wedding we had a link to a blog post with a variety of images from our wedding day, having these to look at immediately was the nicest surprise we could have had! All in all, I’d highly recommend working with Sophia to make sure you get the most awesome photos! More...

I don't even know where to start... I messaged Soph on the off chance she would shoot our wedding, and from that moment she flooded me with enthusiasm, Love, kindness and excitement and I knew I had chosen the best photographer to capture our day. Soph works to the highest of professionalism, but with the energy of your best friend. My husband and I are no pros standing in front of the camera, but during a pre wedding photo shoot she encouraged us out of our comfort zone and we had such fun. I have no doubt our wedding photos will be fantastic and we will forever grateful we were one of the first lucky enough to share our wedding day in the safe and comfortable hands of Sophia. We have been lucky enough to have had a few shoots with Sophia. The first with our little daughter at playgroup, Sophia took the most beautiful photos of her that we shall always treasure! On the basis of this we asked her to take some photos for our new street food company. Sophia took highly professional food shots showing our product off to its very best, she then took photos of us at work for use on our website and as a result of these amazing photos we were invited to sell at a highly prestigious market. Sophia is extremely talented, professional, creative and most importantly lovely and so gets the very best out of her models! We can't wait until we can get more of her photos on our walls! Book her!
