One of the most important things that I learned when working alongside my father in his workshop when I was a young man, was that the simpler the process, the more productive the process. I saw it in everything that he did. From this, I learned not only how to make my own company run smoothly, but also how to transfer that knowledge on to my clients.

I started to work in a different, streamlined, fluid way in order to get the most for my clients. I created seven-step process that was tried and tested and proven to bring results for them. I created a workshop designed to take a business owner and their business apart, to examine and question each part, to get rid of anything that doesn’t work for them, and to put them all back together in a clean, organised and productive way.

By following these steps, I can ensure that my clients now have a clear roadmap for their business that takes them all the way to where they want to be. Working together, we watch their marketing strategy be born right in front of us. It is organised, easy and systematic to put into place. It is designed entirely around who they are and what they want their business to be. This has become my joy; to create something logical, creative and of the highest quality for each client. Something that I know they can manage and that I knew will work. Some of them even now want us to manage the whole process for them, which we are willing and happy to do.

I founded Solobirch in 2006 when I came to the realisation that what I most wanted to do with my life was to use my creativity every day. I wanted to get away from work which is labour, towards work which is joy. I thought about how best to do this, and I settled on the challenge of creating something beautiful and personal that will benefit someone else.

So, Solobirch was founded on these simple principles:
