Highly recommend Solent Cat Sitter. We have had Jackie visit our fur babies twice and everything has been purrfect! They have been extremely well cared for and treated to lots of Dreamies and even a lovely Christmas present! We get regular updates and cute photos that have taken the stress out of leaving them behind. Thank you very much 😻 More...

Recommend this lady - she was quick to respond, and my cat seemed very happy when we got home. I particularly liked the fact that I was made to feel it was run professionally and that gave me great reassurance. The updates were useful as well.
What do you love most about your job?
I love travelling around to different places and meeting different people - Also I love Cats!! That's the best bit ! So I love coming to your home to look after your cat while you are away as you would yourself.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After many years of working in Digital Marketing and office environments, I have decided to start Solent Cat Sitter out of asking myself what I enjoy doing the most.... something that hits most of us at a certain time of our lives. And looking after cats, as well as doing some amateur art here and there, is what I enjoy.
Why should our clients choose you?
My aim with Solent Cat Sitter is to offer cat owners a great service as and when they need it. And hopefully if you liked my service you will carry on using me time and time again.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
When we visit your home, we put on gloves and shoe coverings on each visit to stop any possible cross contamination between each home visit. We would like to do a home visit before our first visit following social distancing and covid safe practices while we are there.
Cat Feeding - Om a nom a nom a nom meeooowww
We will feed your cat according to your instructions and how they usually are fed. If they have a special diet or supplements/medicine added we will also do this for you. Every cat is different and has different preferences
Checking them - Where art thou Kitty?
When at your property, we will always seek to see your cat on each visit to check on them and make sure they are ok. Unless you advise us otherwise.
A bit of fuss - Touch me here... BUT DONOT TOUCH ME THERE!!!!
If your cat likes a little bit of fuss, then we will spend a little time having a chat and play (or brush if they like), helping to settle your cat and let them know all is well.
Other pets - But don't tell the cat!
Don't let the cat know this, but your other non-human family might need attending too as well? If you've got other animals that require attention, we can (secretly) also feed them while we visit the No1 priority.
Garden/Plant watering - because it never rains when you go away!
It's heartbreaking knowing you've looked after your garden all this time, and the one time it doesn't rain is when you go away! Typical!! We can water your plants or garden if you wish to keep things looking green
Coming back home services - there's no place like home....
Just to ease you back into the swing of things, we can offer you a couple of helpful things that make coming home a little easier........ We can offer a clean of your house (according to your wishes) and a basic items food box. Just let us know what you need and we will get it ready for your homecoming.
Other bits - oh no the bins.......
Because we visit most properties at least once a day when you're away we are there for all those little emergencies like, putting the bin out ready for bin day, or putting the kitchen bin into the outside bin, or locking your gate because you forgot. We are always contactable by text or message if you want us to quickly do something that's been forgotten in the excitement of going away.
