I was happy with the time spent on my diagnosis at the first consultation session. What I like about Dharam is that he has knowledge of different treatment options like massage, spinal manipulation, needle and cupping. I found SMSM Therapy rooms clean, tidy and well presented.I was seen by Dharam who was very professional and knowledgeable about physiology. He is clearly very experienced and made me feel comfortable.I had a very deep massage on my upper body focusing on my shoulders and neck, where there was a lot of tension. Highly recommend Dharam and the treatment I have received from SMSM therapy. I was in a lot of pain when I first came across the company and they have brought me great relief. I suffer desperately with headaches from a build up of tention in my shoulders and neck. Dharam not only helped ease these after my first session but also gave me exercises to carry out at home. I have been going to SMSM therapy for about 2 years now and I would recommend them to anyone. In fact I have! There are a variety of treatments but what I love is that my therapist Dharam listens intently when he asks "How are you? " He tells me what treatment he will apply for what ailment and as a retired dancer I am keen to know how the treatment will affect certain muscles etc. He is very good at describing the function of the muscle what went wrong with it and how the treatment will rectify the problem. Some of my problems have been solved almost immediately and others over a period of no more than six weeks. I had a lower back problem for years which no longer exists!!! Excellent service!!! Wonderful treatment provided! Great atmosphere and welcoming staff. I visited smsm after being referred by a friend because of my long standing sciatica issue. I visited smsm for 2 sessions and I was pain free. They gave me exercises to maintain my good health and recommended coming for maintenance sessions quarterly. I always enjoy my treatments whenever I visit these guys. I was suffering from chronic upper back pains for most of my adult life, however after meeting these guys for a consultation, they assessed and diagnosed my problem and gave me the correct treatments and after care advice. Amazing experience. Dharam is a fantastic therapist!! He has been looking after me for 2 years now and sorted my pain after just 2 sessions! Dharam's helped my husband immensely too. I still see him for maintenance sessions and stopped seeing my previous therapist who was also good, just nowhere near as good as Dharam.I am very grateful for all the knowledge and education from lifestyle tips e.g. how to sit at my desk, strength exercises, stretches etc. and they have all been a great help alongside fantastic hands on skills. I've now had 10 sessions with Karan at SMSM for my right shoulder. I'm on my second package now. Karan is friendly and great at his job. We have worked out a treatment plan and schedule that suits me and that's helping with my longer term rehabilitation. Booked for a deep tissue massage today for a very sore back, neck and shoulders and was seen by Karan. He was very accommodating and does suggest only the necessary treatment needed. Awoke this morning with my back completely seized up and was wondering what to do!!After searching online and finding SMSM Therapy opened on a Sunday I was thrilled to find that Dharam would be able to fit me in at 4. 30pm. The treatment itself was fantastic with a great explanation of the issues I was suffering with and how longer term solutions could be applied. Left feeling 100 times better than when I arrived.
