Today I had a 6ft tall, 19m feather edge fence beautifully built at my property. SMK Fencing is a family business run by a lovely man. Shane was the only one out of the many quotes I had who actually measured the length of my garden with a measuring tape and explained what the job would entail to me thoroughly. His professionalism and his friendliness as well as his remarkably fair and honest competitive pricing were the main reasons I hired him for the job. I am extremely glad I did, as I now have a beautiful fence in my garden, which only took the space of one day to do. Shane and his team, one of which being his own son were wonderful, hard working, professional, polite and friendly. A real gem, I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

Contacted SMK and they came out immediately to give a quote. They showed all the certificates required. They talked through what would be done and priced the job. I have to say I was delighted with the work and efficiency of the team. His pricing was the most competitive and matched by the reliability of the firm. Having taken on a propery that had overgrown wildly SMK removed multiple whole trees and crowned/reduced multiple other trees as required in both front and rear gardens. An old ramshackle boarder to public land needed replacing with a new sturdy, secure boarder and all waste generated was removed. The new boarder was of high quality, feather-edged fence, raised as requested and further topped with contemporary slats improving privacy. Shane explained what he was doing throughout the process ensuring SMK met all requirements of the job maximising sunlight, encouraging choice growth and securing property. I took before and after photos, the diference is like night and day. 10/10 would make SMK my first point of contact going forward. Great work, done safely, great value and very courteous. More...

SMK fitted fence around surrounding garden. Work involved removal of considerable amount of large hedges and small tree. I was really impressed with the work done and the time in which the work was completed as it was a large area . Shane and the team are very friendly and professional and the price quoted was very reasonable especially as it includes aftercare.
