Leeds
I’ve loved photography ever since my parents bought me a simple camera for Christmas when I was little.
I grew up with film cameras which taught me so much about composition, lighting and structure - vital when you only have 36 shots to last a weeks holiday!

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
That depends what the subject is!
If it's people then getting them to relax or photographing them unawares gives the most natural shots.
If it's wildlife - timing and luck
If it's an object (like a car) picking a shot no-one else has done - typically I focus on part of the object rather than the whole.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I like to get to know people and what they want from the project.
So for a wedding I like to know the back story of the couple so I can make the photos unique.
For a commercial shoot understanding the business and the wider marketing campaign is critical to getting the right photograph.
What do you love most about your job?
The variety! No two days are the same and that's perfect for me.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Starting my own business was a long held ambition, I'm driven by passion for what I do.
Why should our clients choose you?
Choosing my services ensures a photographer who is committed to putting your needs first and to getting you that shot you really want.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Unfortunately photography is an in person activity so, no, I can't provide my services remotely.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Lateral flow tests before every meeting, social distancing, hand sanitiser and face masks.
If needed initial meetings can be undertaken online by video conferencing.

I'll spend time getting to understand your needs and the look you want before I take any shots.
