Smiths tails is such an amazing service. I would highly recommend Laura to anyone who has a pet. Unfortunately we got let down by our previous dog walker but fortunately for us we found Laura. Laura got back to me straight away the day i emailed her. She come and met our German shepherd Teddy and realised she probably had her work cut out because he is such an anxious dog. Laura has worked closely with teddy these past couple of months and now he loves going on his walks he plays with other dogs, his recall is so much better he gets in the car straight away and we get photos and videos every day teds is out with Laura. Teddy has even made himself a doggy best friend. Laura is so trustworthy and will go above and beyond to help you out. I honestly couldn’t recommend smiths tails enough!! We have two cats who are very loved and spoiled. We have always used catteries when going away and the angst it causes the cats and me has stopped us going away very often as all I do is worry . So we decided to use Smith’s tails for our week away in September. What an amazing service. Laura puts you at ease immediately, and knowing how much she loves animals and the passion she has for her job fills you with confidence. She looked after our two cats beautifully, keeping us updated with messages, pictures and videos (she asked first whether we wanted her to and of course we did!) Our cats were well looked after, loved and played with twice every day. The litter tray was emptied and cleaned when necessary and the house was spotless when we returned. We were so reassured and I actually didn’t worry once! Both cats are shy and timid and they run and hide from everyone who walks through the door......... but not Laura! She is a cat whisperer and they had made her their best friend by the end of the week. Laura is amazing and we cannot recommend her services enough. Laura recently looked after our cats Apollo and McCoy and she’s been brilliant. So helpful and friendly and even our shy skittish Apollo has taken right to her!
McCoy also has dietary allergies and hypoallergenic food and she took great care in making sure he didn’t steal any of his brother’s meals!
Would 100% recommend Laura to anybody looking for some extra love and support for their furry friends and will definitely be using her services again!

From the minute we got in contact with Laura she has been nothing but helpful and friendly. We wanted to get peach a dog walker to give her something to look forward too whilst me and my partner are at work. Peaches has been with Laura for a week and we have even noticed an improvement in her behaviour when we get home of an evening. What do you love most about your job?
From coming from a background where i have been involved in with negative situations, to now walking dogs everyday is another world and brings a smile to my face. I have a lot of passion for my business and make owners and their animals feel like they are family. I love nothing more than getting up to walk my dogs everyday!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was in the Police for 8 years and dealt with very stressful and draining situations. I have always wanted to start my own business and i finally took the plunge in November 2017 when i ended up working in a homelessness team for a local council and realised that i needed to work with animals to make me happy. After taking the plunge i have never been so settled and feel that this was the best decision i have ever made!

I am reliable, i deliver what i promise and i am very flexible. I will make sure i communicate with your during walks/pet sitting services and will ensure your pet is very much so looked after. My animals i care for become my own and they join my family... the more the merrier!

Ideal for Dogs who do not like company or are not able to keep up with the younger ones!

Pet Sitting (Any Animal)
This includes visiting your home, feeding your pet, providing fresh water, scooping of litter trays and interactive play. Watering plants, opening/closing blinds and curtains, putting lights on in after hours.
1 Visit - 1/2 Hour £8
2 visits - 1/2 Hour (in the same day) £14
Puppy Sitting
If you have a puppy but do not want to leave it at home alone, I offer a service where I can visit your puppy and offer you some reassurance. I am happy to feed them, play with them, let them out for toilet breaks and any other request you may have.

Daycare in your home (Perfect for those who don't want to leave their dogs alone!)
