What do you love most about your job?
I come to work to ensure that what the customer requires is reall what he wants. Sometimes we have to educate as with all this new technology, what you or others have previously had, might be superceeded with better and cheaper technology.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Its was so long ago, I cant honestly remember, but 25+ years later we still look after the same customers and ensure that all our work is to or exceeds current standards.
Why should our clients choose you?
We offer unbias advise.
We have 20+ years of repeat business and we only want to supply, intsall and certify a quality installation. You can always find cheaper but then you get let down or messed about. Our enginners have been with us for many years, they are all qualified and DRB checked for criminal records. We would for the MOD and numerous large corporate customers as well as small business and home owners.
We are acredited by the NICEIC for electrical installations, we have Excel, Bradrex, Hubbel and Nexans approval for Data installations. We are Paxton, Hik Vision and Avigilon authorised installers for access control and CCTV.
We are trained to install Rako lighting solutions.
Data Installation Services
At Smart we have years of knowledge and experience when it comes to data cabling installations across both the copper and fibre mediums. Our consultative approach means we provide our clients with a choice of options that includes both wired and wireless solutions. For added peace of mind we can also offer a 25 year application warranty with all data cabling installations.
Electrical Installation Services
All electrical installation work needs to be correctly planned and installed by qualified electricians to ensure it is fit for purpose. Based in Hertford, the Smart team will work across the UK and develop electrical solutions from the initial design stages through to supply and installation. With over 30 years’ experience, Smart carry out a wide range of electrical services, from minor changes through to large electrical fit outs.
Audio Visual Installations
AV has come a long way from being an interactive white board and a projector in a classroom, with interactive flat panels migrating from the classroom to the boardroom. We are delighted to be a leading installer for AV and from our base in Hertford we offer nationwide solutions; from the initial design through to installation, commissioning and on-going support and maintenance.
CCTV
Smart has a rich heritage in the CCTV world, with members of the team having undertaken analogue camera installations as far back as the last millennium. With the focus now on IP CCTV, Smart can undertake a complete installation from initial site visit to evaluate the client’s specific needs through to design, installation, commissioning and ongoing support and maintenance.
