As a Private Tutor, my aim is to provide the best tuition that I can offer and to ensure that it is engaging and enables progress to be made. My approach is to cater to each individual's needs, whether that be individually or in a group setting, facilitating their understanding and encouraging their development, so that they become more confident in their own abilities.

What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy working with students and helping them to gain confidence in the subjects they find difficult.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My love for teaching inspired me to start this business. Being able to focus solely on teaching and supporting students gives me a great deal of satisfaction. As a school teacher, I could see how schools obtaining a specific quota of good results, often left struggling students behind and so, I wanted to be there for those who needed the help they were not always receiving at school.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am a dedicated teacher/tutor, who truly cares about teaching and helping students achieve their goals. I genuinely do my best for each student and will provide the resources and the time to ensure that they develop and improve their skills, increasing their confidence and love of learning.

The service I provide is on-line. Being on-line enables the student to learn in their own environment where they feel comfortable. The lessons are engaging and interactive, with the two of us working together to ensure understanding. My years of experience ensure that the lessons have a clear objective and outcome, helping students to be encouraged and remain focused. Working on-line can be just as effective as in-person tuition as my experience has shown me.
I have a range of resources, self-made and commercial (Google Classroom) etc that enables on-line tuition to be just as effective as in-person tuition.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Being on-line enables all involved to be safe from infectious diseases.
Key Stage 2 English
I focus on all aspects of English:
Spelling, Grammar, Punctuation, Vocabulary, Comprehension and Composition.
Using a range of on-line resources to enhance and develop skills that will improve SAT's results due to using past SAT's papers and questions.
Key Stage 2 Mathematics
Helping students to build their confidence in Mathematics, covering the following subject areas: Number, Operations, FDP, Measures, Geometry and Data. Using a range of on-line resources and past SAT's papers to help students become familiar with the style off questioning and how to answer them for maximum results.
Home-Schooling Support
Providing KS2 English and / or Mathematics to support parents who home-school their children. This service includes not only individual tuition but group tutoring to facilitate parents who collaborate together for their home-schooling.
Also provide support on how to start home-schooling.
KS2 English Writing and Comprehension Course.
A 12-week course that focuses on how students can improve their writing and comprehension skills, enabling them to improve their ability and understanding of the English language. This sets the foundation for more advanced English skills.
This course focuses on 4 main elements of English and also includes pastoral guidance relating to enhancing a positive mindset to learning and also includes developing the skill of critical thinking.
