Another fantastic meal and service. The waitress was very friendly and helpful as was the waiter. A very busy evening but our food was still incredible.
Thank you for helping me book for my aunties birthday. Her first time and she was extremely happy. Mussels were delicious as was the pork belly and beef. Plus pudding and hot chocolate.
Thanks again. Xx

Went for a Birthday meal with my wife and 2 young kids (4 & 1). Food was delicious - my ribeye steak was ordered medium-rare and was cooked perfectly. We were served with a young guy, I think his name was Declan, and his patience with the kids and general interaction with my kids was brilliant, he is an asset to your team. Will be back again and again! Great wee eatery right on our doorstep More...

Me and my boyfriend had a really lovely meal, with tasty food and good service. We were using an itison voucher (entitling us to two 2 course meals) that was received as a gift.
When one of us wanted to order a starter from the menu that had a supplementary charge (nothing to do with the voucher) we said we were happy to pay the £3 charge. However, we were told that wasn’t how it worked and if we wanted that dish (not a special or anything, just part of usual menu, albeit with the supplement charge that applied to anyone ordering it) we would have to pay full price, thus making the use of the voucher redundant. Thinking about it, we still can’t see why this is the case. All dishes were priced the same, and were included in the voucher package. We were willing to pay the extra, but it was refused. If we were allowed the dish, you would be gaining more money.... I would appreciate a reason as to why this is the case? Again, a delicious meal nevertheless.

Another beautiful meal at our local. Had an itison voucher so even better value for money than normal. Hubby has calamari followed by the huge burger (which I of course had to taste both ) I had the mussels followed by chicken in creamy mushroom orzo. I could have ate just a full bowl of the orzo, was to die for.no room for pudding and sober October for me so no chance to taste on of the many speciality guns being advertised. I look forward to my next visit to indulge in both pudding and gin great service too - see you again soon x More...

First time at the Stack as recommended by my brother. And i must say his praise was justified! We were first into the dining room and were welcomed by a lovely young man who showed us to our preferred table.
Drinks followed and we browsed the festive menu. I must say that £28 for 3 courses seemed very reasonable. There were supplements for the usuals ie. Steak, scallops etc but thats the norm.
I took the scallop starter, my partner the mussels. Wow....very lovely presentation and lovely textures and ingredients. Mains we plumped for Ribeye steak and my partner took the lamb rump dish. Again plentiful plates and the best of combinations in ingredients. The drinks choice is huge but i was driving so soft drinks for me.
We were so stuffed after 2 courses we didn't go for a desert which i was quite upset about as they sounded amazing.
The decor is nice and plenty space. We chose to sit in the dining area rather than the bar area but you can choose. Xmas music played too so that was rather lovely.
All in all a great meal with a reasonable bill at the end. Would definately recommend and go again. Thanks to all at the stack!

First time visit . Nice little restaurant though not very cosy .
Good selection of drinks & spirits, guest beers etc .
Menu a little limited seafood /fish/chicken burger or steak.
Portion sizes good even though my pigeon & duck starter was camouflaged with too much salad on top .
Dessert parfait was on the large size could do with a little more finesse.
All in all a good lunch that didn’t break the bank for 2

Good, varied choice on the menu and well priced. It is clean and staff are very friendly. It looks out onto the beach so when the weather is nice it's good to be able to sit outside.

A little gem which deserves much more publicity! We only visited thanks to a discount offer, but what a great place. Excellent food & drink, well priced (even without a discount! ) and good, friendly service. Location makes it tricky to visit unless you're local, or have a designated driver, but it's well worth the effort. More...

Sad, very sad to have finished my dinner here.
Both of us were well satisfied with the quality of the food and choice available.
The chef was helpful regarding my food intolerance and I found I had a significant choice to eat from, despite not being able to eat dairy, wheat wine etc. etc.

Really good quality food. A bit pricey, but worth it for a special occasion. It was Mother's Day on our visit - free bubbly offered for mum, but no free bubbly received :(

A bit out of the way, but only because there's not much else in the village (it's just off the A90). Really good food, not been disappointed yet, recommended.

Food is absolutely fantastic, with succulent tastes oozing from each morsel, and fabulously presented. Stopped for a quick snack lunch only, enjoyed this incredible meal.
