Absolute COWBOYS.Do not let this firm near your property.lf you have had a satisfactory job by them that's fine.This is solely my experience. Hired them to take my chimney down early summer.They did an ok job(or so l thought)Recently one of the replacement tiles came off and left a hole in my roof that started to let water in and damage my ceiling.Emailed them to ask them to replace the tile.No reply so l rang them and they said they would do it within a week.Didn't come so l rang them again.Fobbed me off each time and l realised they had no intention of honouring their guarantee.Had to pay another firm to replace the tile.They showed me photos of the poor work done by SJL.This included tiles not laying flat and the new ridge tiles not being screwed down etc.l now have to have these problems fixed at further expense.l gave them every oportunity to fix a simple problem but they weren't interested.Beware. Our house needed some small repairs and we called SJL to fix a small hole in a soffit. They arrived within an hour to examine the problem and came the next day to repair the damage. After examining the roof it became clear there was extensive water damage that needed replacing.
