Phone wouldn't charge, so went into the Apple store, got told it would cost £300 to get a replacement phone - as the charge slot was beyond repair. Popped in here by chance and my phone was fixed on the spot in under 5 minutes. They also refused to take cash for such a "small job". Would highly recommend going here as an alternative to the Apple store if you are located in Glasgow - instead of waiting a week to be told something can't be fixed and being subjected to an up sale of another device. I was going to get new GHD's but didn't want to pay £100+ for them, so I went along to Simplyfixit at Stockbridge and they were really helpful. I took them in on the Friday and they had told me they would probably be ready by the Tuesday but to my amazement, they were ready the next day (Saturday). Simply Fix It saved my trip and my work! My computer had a water damage from an accident, and I was only going to be 2 days in Edinburgh. Apple didn’t want to compromise with the time limit, and so I looked for another option. Simply Fix It took it in, knowing that the more time it would wait the corrosion would be worse. They did the whole procedure, and then found out the battery needed changing. It would take 24 hours for a new one to come in, so they decided to place a used —in excellent shape— one for me. I picked up the computer before taking the train and I’m set to work again!

They replaced my iPhone 6 screen & battery for less than the Apple store does and they replaced my back camera and camera lens, which the Apple store does not even provide as a possible service. Everything was done within one business day and when I noticed that my camera would not focus a few days later, they were able to correct the issue within 2 hours. 2 weeks into owning a brand new £2400 15 inch MacBook Pro with touch bar, my daughter decorated it with smoothie( AppleCare insurance doesn’t cover liquid damage). Apple quoted to fix it £1780. Heart in my mouth we took it to Simplyfixit Glasgow. £99. They cleaned it under a microscope and it works, like a brand new MacBook that it is, touchbar works! We obviously lost the MacBook Aple warranty but £1700 still in the bank we can live with that and have the work guaranteed by Simplyfixit. I can’t recommend these guys enough. More...

Fast and cheaper than apple ;)!!!
We went to simplyFixIt to get a macbook pro 2012 battery replaced, the macbook was saying "replace soon". Simplyfixit replaced our battery in an hour which was cool :). Oups! After a few days we could feel that something was off, the battery was depleting rapidly and was now saying "service battery"..! As soon as they got the new batteries in, we went and they fixed the computer in a fews hours. They offer warranty and changed the battery again for free which was super. The guys were all very nice and they showed us where you can see how many cycles your battery went through and explained that "yeah sometimes batteries cells dies faster than supposed out of the blue and that's why they offer warranty."

After several bad experiences with another local "repair" shop I tried this place.Friendly, knowledgeable staff who go out their way to help you. I took in an Ipad that another company had butchered in their repair attempt and these guys got it fixed up for me real fast - It still works even to today.My only criticism is they are a bit on the expensive side but I suppose if you want premium work done, you need to pay premium prices which Im OK with.Would highly recommend this company over any other in Dalkieth More...

There was a crack on my retina display screen on my 13'' Macbook Pro. I was given the complete account on the repair work and why the entire screen panel had to be fitted. Not only was it cheaper than going to a Mac Store (cheaper by £200) but it was fixed within 5 days (weekend inclusive). The laptop was stripped apart and cleaned and works and looks great. My son broke screen on his iphone, we went to simply fix it on bath street. Very kind chap served us I think his name was KJ. He advised us that phone casing is badly damaged and it would not be wise to fit new screen on it and new screen will eventually pop off or crack again due to constant pressure on glass. He clearly explained all pros and cons. I am so impressed with his / company honesty. They could have easily just fitted new screen and take my money since I know nothing about technology and techy stuff but they gave me honest advice. I uncharacteristically turned off my Ipod to pick grab a flyer from some men in suits and see what they were on about, and turned out they worked at Ideal Computing, which was just behind us. The fliers were advertising an inclusive telephone, internet, cable tv package, which they can helpfully help set up for you! The staff were nice, and also patient, as it took an annoying fifteen minute phone conversation to find out if I was eligible for a product I didn't end up buying. Aside from their services, they appear to have the basic computer products; what I've bought has been quite reasonably priced, and according to them it takes just two or three days for any out of stock items to arrive at the store. I'll definitely be back here, if only to just admire the mile long dreadlocks one of their staff rocks quite nicely. More...
