I’ve used Simon’s Bakery for three occasions now, including two birthdays and most recently for my wedding. The cakes are truly magnificent. The flavours are to die for, and the designs are quite simply works of art. I cannot recommend Simon’s Bakery enough. The cake was not only stunning (some guests gasped when they saw it) but it was so delicious. People were going back for 3-4 slices. We tried so many bakers across London and this was by far the tastiest! We went for blueberry and lemon, and carrot and peach. Simon was so helpful throughout the entire process, providing us with tasters, helping us with the colour and design so that the cake worked well with our room and venue, and assembling/delivering the cake on the day to ensure that it was as fresh as possible. Simon made our wedding cake and it was the most delicious, stunning cake ever! The hardest part of the process was choosing a flavour as they were all so delicious, but we managed to narrow it down! We asked Simon do provide a cake for our wedding and we were absolutely blown away by not just the stunning visual design of it, but also by the absolutely wonderful flavour that oozed through every slice. We had shopped around through several bakeries and done several tasting as part of our wedding prep, so believe me when I say that picking Simon as our baker was one of the easiest choices we made. The samples he sent us were huge, and just such a complete joy to experience. Compared to every other bakery, and again that is not an exaggeration, his cakes just melted into an explosion of flavour in your mouth in a way that no-one elses came close. And on top of that, to be a little blunt for a moment, his prices were so reasonable compared to some of the, shall we say, extravagant quotes we got elsewhere! We cannot recommend him highly enough. I asked Simon for something a little different to what he usually makes. I wanted a cake for my daughter's 1st birthday that had no refined sugar in it so that the babies could eat it.
