Simon Andrew Wedding Photography

We received our photos this week and cannot express enough in words just how happy we are! We spent some time seeking a photographer and experienced multiple disappointments, so many didn’t adapt language to a same sex couple, some didn’t reply at all and some didn’t want to work on a bespoke arrangement. From the start you adapted, listened, did everything we asked and to be honest you did more than we expected!

The time we had with you and Graham was so positive, you weren’t pushy and you felt part of our family and friends. The pictures really capture the love and joy that was felt on the day, but the little touches that were done as a surprise were just amazing… thank you so much!

I can't recommend Simon Andrew highly enough. He photographed our wedding in July and we were absolutely delighted with his work. He took a mix of reportage style and formal shots and he managed to capture and atmosphere and pure joy of the day. I was also really impressed with the amount of prep work he did as he visited both venues beforehand and sourced the locations that would make the best pictures. He also did some photoshop work for us to ensure that the photographs we wanted to frame really were perfect. Fantastic people, can't wait to see what they can do!

I contacted Simon with quite an unusual photography request - I was arranging to surprise my wife with two doves which we would release, and wanted to capture this in photos. . I wasn't sure whether anyone would be happy to do this, quite a complicated ask really.. But I was very impressed and relieved to get an extremely thoughtful response from Simon, and knew he would be just the person for the job! He was hugely helpful in staying in contact while we organised things. He even visited the location in advance to work out where exactly would give the best photos - and on the day he was fantastic, I really think the whole surprise would have fallen apart were he not there. Simon and his colleague Graham were even kind enough to take some further informal photos of the two of us after the dove release was over. I found Simon on Bark.com and I was so glad I did. Not only were the photos amazing but Simon and Graham made the whole day so much fun. We were quite nervous about our "alone time" shoot as we aren't used to being in front of a camera but they made us feel so relaxed and the time flew by.
