Jeni did all of our Wedding photography including a preshoot before the Wedding to get us used to having our picture taken and she made us feel so relaxed throughout. On our big day Jeni was everywhere we wanted her to be getting all the pictures to capture the whole story of our day. I cannot fault any of the service from Signature photography. We were treated to a pre-wedding photo-shoot which was both a great laugh and allowed us to break the ice. On our wedding day Jeni was exactly where she needed to be at the perfect moments to give us some beautiful photo's to cherish. We opted for the digital package for our photo's, which was given to us in a beautifully personalized box. Naughty But Nice
We were fortunate enough for Jeni to be our wedding photographer in June this year; we are absolutely over the moon with our photographs that are the perfect reminder of our special day. Jeni had previously done a lovely photoshoot for my dog after we won a competition on her facebook page; it was such fun and the prints were so lovely that it was a no brainer when it came to choosing a wedding photographer - we didn't even bother looking anywhere else. Jeni captured the mood, theme and general atmosphere of our ceremony and reception. We felt very at ease having our pictures taken after our engagement shoot which helped us to understand how to get the look we wanted and also how Jeni works. Newborn Photoshoot I have used the services of Signature Photography twice. First for our wedding in August 2015 and again, more recently, for a newborn photoshoot after the birth of my son in August 2016. Having work with Jeni on our wedding photography I was certain that I would receive a 5 star professional and personal service and, as I expected, that is exactly what I received! My son was only 2 weeks old when the photoshoot took place and, like many nervous first time mums, I spent the night before worrying about what I would do if my little boy screamed, cried (and pooed) his way through the entire shoot! I needn't have worried Jeni was fabulous at putting us both at ease. She is a natural with the babies and my little boy was quite smitten with her. As for Mums, Jeni is equally as charming. She freely encourages you to breastfeed baby (providing a discreet quiet room and comfy feeding chair if required)and actively involves Mum in the photo process. The 'poses' into which baby is placed during the shoot are done with the utmost care and with the safety and comfort of baby always at the forefront. The studio is warm and comfortable and Jeni takes time on the shoot, never rushing baby or Mummy. My little boy actually slept throughout the entire shoot as he was so relaxed - this was something that he would never do at home! Having worried about the shoot the night before I can honestly say that this photoshoot was one of the most lovely experiences with my new little boy. It goes without saying that the photographs are outstanding and the range of packages and extras are very competitively priced. I've known Jeni for a few years and had shoots with her at the studio and pop up events. The best thing about Jeni being the other side of the camera is how comfortable she makes everyone feel. The experience warrants 5 stars itself, but then there's the quality of her work and attention to detail. I know how good she is but it's always a nice treat to unwrap the prints and see her artistic understanding capture a moment so perfectly. I whole heartedly recommend anyone in need of a photographer to speak to Signature! Keep it up and I'm sure I'll be finding more reasons to visit again soon. More...

Jeni (Signature Photography) did the photography for our small and intimate wedding. Jeni was extremely easy to work with, listened to our ideas and also suggested thing that we hadn't thought of.
She helped us organise our 'shoot' to maximise the time and to allow me and my new husband to share those precious early moments with each other! All of the guests commented on Jeni's personable manner and her professionalism.
When the photographs arrived we were utterly delighted (and in my case reduced to tears!). They felt very natural and really caught the feel of our incredibly special day. I Still don't think Jeni realises quite how important a role she played in helping me and my husband achieve our dream wedding.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
I love to catch a balance of posed and natural images. One is likely to stem from the other. Often clients appreciate a little direction. In an easy, informal way I’ll make suggestions that will help you to settle in and get comfy, creating an opportunity for me to sneak in and capture natural moments. These feelings will translate into your photographs. And this is what we want to capture and print
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I'm keen to understand what it is that clients are looking for from the photographs I take for them. Do they want to document a key milestone in their life? Will they want to create a beautiful keepsake album from their photographs? Will they be looking to have gorgeous bespoke artwork on their walls, showcasing them to family and friends. Are they looking for a photographer to give them a little direction? Would they prefer a balance of candid moment shots with posed photographs? I usually meet with clients in person or chat over the phone to find out this information, with brides I meet them several times before their big day. With families, a phone call or email tends to work best.
What do you love most about your job?
For me, being creative everyday is essential; it’s a main part of what drives me, what makes me smile and puts a spring in my step! I take inspiration from the people around me, from other photographers and artists, the local Lincolnshire landscape, from music, fashion and travel. I love meeting new people, especially loved up couples and families with young children.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I want to create photographs that you can’t wait to hang in your home, gorgeous photo books that you lovingly browse through at least once a week and artwork that you proudly gift to family. I want to create photographs that shout out your personality, that brings you back to a moment you loved, that makes you smile. It’s important to me that you enjoy every little bit of your experience, from the very first chat we have at a pre-consultation, right through to selecting your most favourite images.
