They say “pictures do not lie” and that’s why I booked Cheryl for three Doggie Day Trips for any rescue dogs she felt would benefit. This young lady and her team have a true empathy and connection with our canine friends, going above and beyond to give them best possible experiences whilst making sure they remain in their comfort zones, safe and secure. I contacted Shropshire Canine Enrichment when I suffered a shoulder injury and was unable to walk my dog. They arranged for Sophie to start the following day, she was excellent with Benji and he loved going for his adventures with her and always came back happy, contented and tired. Sophie was knowledgeable about his breed, without input from me and made sure he didn’t get overheated or over exerted himself. I only recently became aware of the doggy day trips that Cheryl undertakes. What better way of supporting these beautiful dogs that need homes or are in long term kennels, than to give them the gift of a fabulous day out with Cheryl. A day of freedom, walks, fun and ultimately the possibility of finding themselves their forever home! Cheryl takes wonderful photographs of the doggies enjoying themselves and is able then to support the dog rescues/kennels by sharing the photos with those looking to give loving homes. Thierry had his first doggy day trip with Cheryl on Wednesday. The pictures we saw after spoke a thousand words on just how much Thierry enjoyed his time and how well he was looked after! He was so tired after but sat by the door for a good hour, I believe he was awaiting Cheryl’s return. I have booked him in again for another trip and can’t wait for him to go. I gifted a doggy day out experience for a rescue dog. Koda. From hilbrea was chosen. They gave koda a fabulous day out. I honestly cannot recommend Shropshire Canine Enrichment enough. From Bohdis first meeting with Sophie he was obsessed with her, his little bum goes wiggly mad when she comes through the door. Sophie has him for an hour while I'm at work and it really puts my mind at ease knowing she is continuing our training and getting my puppy used to the big world. Hes always happy and exhausted when he returns. My mind is at ease knowing Cheryl's business is fully insured and the 4 of them are all continually improving themselves with courses and qualifications even though they ALL have vast experience working with Rescue dogs and at Hilbrae (I know they worked at Hilbrae as I used to see them there when I went dog walking) It's nice knowing while I'm working my puppy is out having the best time with his best buddie Sophie (I even get photos) More...

Having known Cheryl for several years, I recently approached her with a view to working with Shropshire Canine Enrichment and our Ruff Start Rescue CIC ™ dogs in UK kennels locally to her. This was the best thing I could ever have done for our dogs. The knowledge, love, care and obvious affinity that Cheryl has for rescue dogs, and all dogs, shines through, she is professional and courteous. Cheryl is also a very talented photographer, and without doubt this has been key to our successful collaboration. Every dog that has been taken out on a rescue doggy day trip with Shropshire Canine Enrichment, has been adopted within a week of the pictures taken. The wonderful assessment we get, and the honest opinion about what sort of home would suit our dogs has made a world of difference to them being successfully rehomed. The dogs we have in UK Kennels are most often dogs that have already been handed back and given up on once, but Cheryl and her team treat them like they are the most important dog in the world, not a dog that nobody wanted. I cannot recommend the team highly enough, and Ruff Start Rescue CIC ™ are looking forward to a long and successful collaboration with them - as a rescue we feel like all our dogs are our own, and can be very protective of them - but honestly we would not trust anyone else to take them out except Shropshire Canine Enrichment. Cheryl and the team are the best EVER! I have a dog who doesn’t trust Humans but he has made a huge bond with Paul. 💕 Hugo my Dog went to a day care/hotel before but ended shaking in fear but now he barks with excitement to the point that the whole street know when he is going for a walk. Super, super happy with the day trip donated for Ben, my rescue boy. Lots of updates and the boy looks like he had the most fantastic day! However, you know these people have looked after and bonded with a dog superbly when they get up to leave, and Ben cries for them to come back! I'm really happy with the service, I wouldn't think twice about using these guys again and I suggest if you like your dog, let them have a day out with these guys! Ben hasn't moved all evening!! I have a very challenging German Shepherd who dislikes other animals and needs a slow introduction when meeting new people. He is dominant and is always muzzled on walks. On day 1 meeting Cheryl after 1 hour she was able to play with Krug without his muzzle - something I didn’t think was possible! Cheryl is the ultimate dog whisperer and I wouldn’t have anyone else look after my dog. My Boys are newbies and I can honestly say they are loving their weekly walks. One is a little nervous around people he doesn't know and the other a bit of a thug. I was so nervous when Cheryl and Vivienne came to meet them for the first time but after a few minutes The Boys settled. I cried when they came back from their first walk as they came trotting down the road looking very happy. Lockdown has been difficult and I felt The Boys weren't getting the exercise they needed. Ive worked with Cheryl when she was at Hilbrae kennels and always admired her with dogs. The way she is with them, her passion and the love she has for them. She’s an inspiration. I adopted Sam when I first started and then took on Freddie. She has taken both my boys out for the birthdays and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dogs than Cheryl and her wonderful mum. my dogs love seeing Cheryl and they always come back so happy. It’s the little things Cheryl does on her trips which make you feel happy as an owner. I would 100% recommend Cheryl to anyone she is absolutely amazing. Yesterday she took my mums two Leo’s out. Zack is sometimes very nervy of new people but it was almost like they had always known her. I’ve never seen mya and Zack so happy when they came back all over Cheryl and her mum it was so so wonderful too see that she had made a bond with them so quickly. Cheryl and her team Paul and Viv have been looking after my three dogs for 4 weeks now and I couldn't be more pleased. Paul and Viv do a "Pop in" service calling on my dogs every lunch time giving them their food and letting them into the garden for a bit of exercise and lots of love and cuddles. I can't believe the difference in my one dog who was a real stress head he had totally calmed down and looks forward to seeing either Paul or Viv. Cheryl has sent me photos of my fur babies seeing them so relaxed and enjoying their visits melts my heart. Knowing my dogs are in safe hands whilst we are out at work is such a relief not just for the dogs but for us as well. My fur baby Barney had his first doggy day trip and he absolutely loved it. I was nervous as he is only 10months and has never gone with anyone, but he clearly had an amazing day. Viv has been walking my 2 dogs, Mia & Tiloulah, for a few weeks now & I’m so impressed!! Mia is a rescue dog who was extremely nervous of everyone & everything. Within a short few weeks of Viv taking her for walks I have seen a HUGE difference in her; she’s more playful, confident & overall she’s a lot happier!
