John shot our festival wedding at the Dreys Wedding Venue. We were a bit clueless about how it all works and John and his team were fantastic at guiding us through the process to ensure we got great photos and that the key aspects of our wedding were covered with a truly artistic approach. Our wedding was fairly wide spread due to the style of wedding, but John and his team made sure nothing was missed and we were very happy with the end result. What do you love most about your job?
I love weddings, always have. 9 times I have been Best Man for friends which I see as being a huge honour. I love to see the faces of my Brides and Grooms as they look at each other when they are saying their vows and exchanging rings. It is a very, very special thing to be allowed to witness. I also love the feeling I get when I hand over a wedding album to a couple and I see their faces as they look through their wedding photos for the first time.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Some friends asked me several years ago to photograph their wedding as I was a very keen amateur. I am not going to lie, the stress of it all was incredible, but they loved their photos and this planted the seed for me to do it all again and again. Now I am a full time wedding photographer and I absolutely love what I do.

I offer a relaxed and discreet documentary style of photography. For the most part my clients don't know I am there on the day. Occasionally if the Bride and Groom want we will nip off for some romantic artistic portrait work within the grounds of the wedding venue. With SHOT by JFK you will get a reliable, professional wedding photographer that knows it is your day and as such you are the important people. It is all about you, as the song goes. If you choose to allow me to photograph your wedding you will receive your edited photographs on a beautiful Crystal USB memory stick in its own presentation box personalised to you. We can also supply our stunning Italian wedding albums which will also be personalised to you both, additional albums or smaller parent albums are also available..
Wedding Photography
We offer full day packages from Bridal Preparation to First dance, or smaller packages tailored to your needs. We can also provide a second photographer if you would like to make sure every single moment is captured or you have bigger wedding parties.
