I've been a life coach since 2001, and my clients keep coming back so I must be doing something right.

I have two sides to what i offer: firstly I'm a general, seasoned life coach - its all about getting you on track and reaching your goals. I also have a specialism in nutrition - I've found over the years that, especially for women, nutrition and body image and health are where we can do a lot of good work together. The body side underpins everything, so we start to make progress there and other things start working too.

Of course some people get on track really quickly so they don't need to come back and that's amazing too - it's all about you and your goals and that how we work.

I charge a bit more for the initial session where I go off and do a lot of work behind the scenes, and sometimes that sets you on the road, but most people have a series of sessions until they get somewhere.

It's all about you so we do what works.

If you're sure you want to stick with the journey for a year, I'm just starting to offer a laser coaching package. You pay for the year up front and then you can book yourself in for as many sessions as you want, one at a time, providing you've done what we agreed at the last session - anything from big stuff down to 'I'll get those trainers out of the back of the cupboard'. It's all about the steps.

My initial coaching qualification is shrouded in the mists of time but I've got loads of experience, have raised four kids with special needs who are out in the world now, been through my own challenges with divorce and life, I'm no-ones idea of skinny and I use my nutritional training on myself and I'm still learning.

There's no quick fix for anything worth doing, which is why the first session takes a while to find out all about you, then I have to go off and do maths and check things and stuff to come up with a good, safe plan.

If you have a lot of weight to lose or an underlying condition, I'll ask you to check with your gp that you're safe to diet (if that's your plan), but for most areas it's just seeing if we fit and what your goals are then we'll both sign an agreement to keep the boundaries safe and so you know what we're doing.

Even though I'm exclusively working remotely at the moment, I'm really excited to 'meet' you and travel with you on your journey to your goals. I prefer to do sessions by voice call rather than video. I find its more effective to focus on your words and you cant see me scribbling notes and get distracted.
