What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Ensuring my client(s) are calm and relaxed. I find this makes it easier for me as the photographer to capture photos that my client(s) are happy with. A photo can speak a thousand words, so I tend to ensure that those being photographed are either in their natural element, comfortable with myself and their surroundings and talking through what I will be doing, along with talking through poses and ways my client(s) can present themselves.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
The questions I would ask a client largely depends on the nature of the photoshoot.
Some general questions would be:
- Are you happy for your photos be used to display my work on social media and other platforms to show future clients what they can expect?
- Are there any specific photos you would like me to capture? Do we need to make a shot list?
- Is there anything I need to know about those being photographed? Such as - anxiety, disabilities or anything that may need further help/support from myself.
What do you love most about your job?
I absolutely LOVE being able to take the photos that capture the moment and being able to freeze that moment in time. Whether that be posed for, or in their natural element, the photos I produce are always able to tell a story without the need for words. From capturing those precious first moments of a new born baby, to larger events such as engagement parties, the principle for me is the same. I put myself in the shoes of the client and think about what I would expect from my photos, and that is what helps me produce my work to the best of my ability. Meeting new people, experiencing new places and making new connections is also a huge part of my job and I have never been so lucky to meet the people I have met on my journey so far!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Starting my own business was inspired by my motivation to leave behind a legacy for my son. Being able to be my own boss means I have a stable work/home balance and I am there for the important moment in my son's life as well as the important moments in my client(s) lives.
Why should our clients choose you?
My signature style of photography is what makes me different to other photographers.
I am flexible in terms of my editing style if a client has a special request, I always endeavour to do my best by them,
I am a mobile photographer and am able to transport large goods such as backdrops if needed for a specific shoot.
I enjoy working outdoors as we have so much beautiful countryside and scenery around us, taking photos with this in the background calls for amazing photos!
I am also easy to get along with, and always take on board any requests a client has for photos they may want.

My photography services are only provided in person.
Finished photos will be sent online via an online gallery platform where you will also receive your unique pin to download the photos. I also provide finished images on a USB if the client requests this.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I am doing LFT's weekly in order to know whether it is positive or negative.
I maintain a sociable distance when communicating with my client(s)
I always wash and sanitise any props thoroughly after each use
I ask client(s) to sanitise their hands before and after use of props

My family photography sessions start from 1 hour. Photoshoot can take place indoors or outdoors (weather dependent)
This can include but is not limited to:

New born photoshoot
My new born Photoshoot’s take place at the clients house. I am fully insured and DBS checked to work with young children and babies.
My new born Photoshoot’s can take between 2-3 hours depending on the behaviour of the baby. Time that is used for feeds, changing, naps may be made up for at my discretion.
I provide the props, and I am trained in new born handling
Maternity
Maternity Photoshoot’s start from 1 hour. These can take place at the clients home or outdoors.
If we are outside I have a checklist of things I recommend in order to ensure both mum and baby’s safety especially if heavily pregnant.
Boudoir
My boudoir photography service is open to both plus size and non plus size women and couples.
The photos are tasteful and will remain between myself and the client(s)
The atmosphere is relaxed and non judgemental in order to achieve the best results.
I do not provide outfit changes.
