Shape up has given me more confidence to wear dresses I like to wear, teaching me both a healthy life style and exercise. Good for both physical and mental health

I took part in the 8 week programme with shape up and I was skeptic at first, as I thought I knew what I was putting in my mouth. Well I learnt a lot, like I no longer count calories and eat full fat things and still lost weight, but more importantly I lost a whole 6cm off my waist. I have just completed the 8 week ShapeUp programme and feel I achieved my initial goals which was to feel more confident and energetic in myself and to drop a clothes size! ShapeUp doesn’t feel like hard work because it’s realistic and achievable and requires minor adjustments to the way you eat. The exercise element to the class was fun and motivating and the group were a great bunch of people. The support from everyone involved in ShapeUp is amazing. I've now been following the Shape Up guide for the last two weeks and can honestly say the difference is incredible. For many years I've suffered from excess stomach acid keeping me awake at night, living off antacids and doctor prescribed medication but since I've started on this guide I've not taken a single Rennie or suffered any indigestion. I did not need to lose weight, just improve my eating and and plan my meals better around a busy lifestyle. This guide has been invaluable in helping me with this and along with the improved stomach health I'm also feeling so much more mentally alert with the added bonus of much improved energy levels, without the sugar crashes. What can I say about Shape Up. I'd Heard about it, I'd listened to others talk about it. However, i didn't have the courage to try it. Then I had a conversation with it's author (Caroline). That conversation lead to me making an appointment that has turned my life around. I purchased the book, I took it home and I read it from cover to cover several times. I was still a sceptic but one thing hit me hard. NO MORE DIETING That hook got in my head and gave me the courage to give it a go. That hook has changed my outlook on my life. When you read this book you will learn to understand that what goes in affects what you get out. I have spent years putting in what i thought was right for me. What did i get from that. Overweight, Overtired in fact i felt over the hill. After reading Shape Up I started putting in the things my body needed, but whats better is that i started getting out of it the life i desire. Shape up doesn't tell you do this or do that, however, it does tell what benefits you will get by doing this or that. I'm convinced that had i not bitten the bullet and obtained this book I'd still be falling asleep in the chair at three in the afternoon. Not so now. I now follow the Shape Up Programme. I eat more than I ever did, but there is a balance in what goes in. I now have longer lasting batteries, therefore have come to enjoy exercise more regularly. When i spoke to Caroline I asked can you do anything that will keep me motivated and give me a healthier and more active lifestyle. She said "YES" She wasn't wrong. I started following the Shape Up way of eating 4 weeks ago, I had been eating meat but am happy to have fish, chicken, eggs and goats cheese these days. Reading Caroline's book inspired me to get out in the fresh air and start walking each day and I am so delighted as have been losing weight steadily each week. I have suffered with migraines for over 42 years and following this plan has helped to ease those so much. I love Caroline's book , it is easy to follow and the recipes in the book are yummy too.
