If you are at a time in your life when you are feeling stuck, and you are facing difficulties that are causing you uncertainty, fear and anxiety. It can create a sense of vulnerability and feelings of insecurities. Past experiences or traumas may resurface. Surviving through this can be quite challenging.

As a counsellor and psychotherapist I work with clients by creating a safe space and establishing a warm, trusting environment. Working therapeutically whilst exploring the needs of my clients, enhances the process, enabling progression into one’s inner world. This provides a depth of insight, healing and growth.

My experience in this profession has enabled me to work with the most vulnerable individuals within the voluntary charity and educational sectors.

My practice of 16 plus years has led me to work in schools, university settings, women centres, bereavement specialist services, charities, relate, working with mental health issues, confidence, self esteem, relationships, attachments, childhood trauma, adult trauma, living losses, grief/bereavement, abuse, domestic violence, PTSD, are some of the issues I work with. In the past I have worked with children, families and groups. I have also mentored and supervised student counsellors, fellow colleagues, provided training and delivered workshops.

Currently, I am working with young people aged 16 plus, adults and couples.

My specialism is working with trauma.; including multiple loss, bereavement, grief work, survivors of sexual abuse and mental health issues; including anxiety, depression, schizophrenia and OCD.

I am passionate about making a difference in individuals lives and creating change.

Currently, I am working face to face and online. As well as English, I speak Urdu and Punjabi.
